Observed at scale, several geo-strategic phenomena arrest one’s attention by way of their systemic import.
One is the failure of the Trump administration, in the company of numerous and distinguished nation-states, so far, to eliminate the world’s fiercest problem: the goings on in northern Helmand Province, Afghanistan. I noted the consequential urgency of this problem in August, September, October, and December of 2019. The problem’s geographical pivot is the triangle formed by the Helmand and Kash rivers. Here we are again, a new iteration of domestic campaign against an opioid epidemic and no resolve to eliminate its source.
Through almost twenty years of American statecraft kinetics inside Afghanistan, not one POTUS, not one CENTCOM Commander, not one Intel Weenie, not one US Congress, and not one NATO Leader has summoned moral courage to extirpate industrial-grade opium production operating in northern Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Why?
When the terrifying ogress Lankini challenged Hanuman at the gate to Lanka, Hanuman walloped her, and when she rose to try again he clocked her, dead, although she expired fondling her contusion and thanking Hanuman for freeing her from an ancient curse.
One is the failure of The CCP to produce hardware sufficient to enact their globe-wide hegemonic objectives . . . even were hardware strength sufficient to do that, which it is not. Parallel is The CCP’s inability to produce propaganda sufficient to hide their predisposition to hell-raising as well as their privation of seriousness commensurate with the practice of intelligent statecraft.
If the WWW is thought of as an ocean, one can observe that CCP aim to own it the way His Majesty’s Royal Navy owned the seas, at least awhile. Ditto space.
DJT is the first POTUS to force the so-called Euro-American IC/Foreign Policy Establishment (Five Eyes and its myriad adjuncts) to face that fact and turn it back on itself, causing CCP and their Euro-American dependents to throw a bio-social snit fit.
One is the failure of Euro-American Fascists — aka Globalists, Deep Staters, D-R UniParty minions, Administrative Staters, Academic and Entertainment-Media Elites — to convince citizens of their respective nation states to throw over their personal and national sovereign freedoms in favor of global governance by peer-reviewed experts — aka gangs of grifters and rent seekers otherwise known today as Globalists, Deep Staters, D-R UniParty minions, Administrative Staters, and Academic and Entertainment-Media Elites.

One is the movement of teaching from buildings and unions to conferencing softwares and families. Education ex corde ecclesia proceeds hither, even more enthusiastically than before it has done, thank God!
Homeschoolers are our country’s imminent functional leader cadre in the professions and the trades, both.
I think the pandemic underscores the value of homeschooling.
Oh yeah. Our nation’s emerging leader cadre is sourced in homeschooling families.
Also, among other auspicious developments, this at-home experience now will inspire demand (1) for school vouchers and (2) for certification of homeschooling as the irreplaceable basis of education per se. Skillful stewardship of our national sovereign freedom will emerge therefrom. And, parents will demand that state funding of teachers and administrators go to them because they, parents, are doing the work.
Normal people, such as Americans, can solve problems that arise. None, save God Himself, is more powerful than free-born men enjoying distributed responsibility, which is our natural estate.
Every day that goes by now emboldens children to pressure their parents to free them from those educational stupidity institutions called public schools. All for the better. Children, having experienced an alternative — homeschooling and its nearly limitless adjuncts — will demand freedom to learn on their own from their own interests. This is how the nation solves her skills deficit in all fields of endeavor: re-monasticize.

Hell-Raisers, Seditionists
The CCP, Euro-American Socialists, and Salafi-Shiite Jihadis share something in common, being hell-raisers. They are only that. To their ideologies and visions, their phrases and arguments, there is no substance more than simple and simplistic impulses to raise hell. That makes them seditionists. Ogre and Ogress are ancient denominations of the type. They look human but they behave animalistically so they cannot be deemed human or their productions considered valuable. Everything they bring from inside and put outside is garbage to the human domain of life.

This is now standard and mostly accurate historiography for where we are and how we got here. I myself have written in such terms, as have others. But you know what? I think writing so now is one of those things which is not wrong but is superficial. It gives, I think, undeserved credit to these hell-raisers — soi-disant elites — for thinking (twisted) and planning (malicious).
Clearly, they are not serious statesmen, philosophers, lawyers, professors, reporters, or even, for some, soldiers. Yet, I submit that these personalities and their ambitions are even less profound than unserious. I submit, rather, that these personalities are no more serious or profound than hell-raisers. Slickly attractive and frighteningly dressed, but simple and simple-minded hell-raisers nonetheless.
Lengthy historiography of their origins and objectives at this late date is not wrong with respect to hell-raisers, but also it is not helpful. Helpful is realizing the shallowness of their roots and serving them a scorching heat. Man, woman, or child, a hell-raiser deserves being added to the components of a scorched earth.
Vultures, yes, but IMO, also hyenas, who make and partially consume the carcass vultures then pick clean.
I have come to think that these personalities, in media, schools, politics, medicine, law, etc., are not more profound than hell-raisers. They have ideologies and visions, phrases and arguments, all simple-minded, but inside any of those that they use are the simple and simplistic impulses of a hell-raiser. Nothing more profound than that. Cussedness-filled hell-raisers. Their wish is to conjure chaos. Their posture qualifies them for a hauling up on charges of sedition.
Hell-raisers are simple-minded. Were they subtle-minded, they could be God-seekers. It is a curse they must endure until God frees them along some way of His choosing. Meanwhile, one should realize the shallowness of hell-raisers’ roots and apply the torch to their stalk, as POTUS Trump does, albeit short of sufficiently, in affairs of state for which he has responsibility.
The meaning of Avathaar (Divine Incarnation) is this: to save mankind, God out of His love, affection and compassion, comes down to the level of man and arouses the Divine Consciousness in man. He makes man aware of Him in him, when He finds him desperately searching outside of himself for Him who is his very core.

Prevailing rules, indeed. They are not prevailing because they were irrational, self-serving for their concoctors, and deleterious to the generalities of all countries. The new inter-nation order is USA, Russia, and India seconded by Japan and Egypt. And the Pacific is a land-based problem set, not a sea-based one. INDOPACOM should respond to Army necessities first then Navy/Marine, Air Force, and Space necessities for seconding Army necessities. All problem sets are first and foremost geographical in nature, and geography primarily is Army responsibility.
Update 2: That [The CCP] name the U.S. Army [as distributor of the CCP Virus] is significant. They grasp that the U.S. Army is their key enemy militarily. Not the Navy, not the AF, not the Marines, not Space. Army. Well, they are right on that one. War is a land-based activity and winning wars requires subduing a spirit of aggression the all-vital logistics for which base on a measure of land. Oceans are wet land. Air is thin land. Space is quiet land. Any human activity can depart from land, but every human activity has to return to/base on land. Quarantining Chinese comms, period, might do that. That was the Royal Navy’s response to comms situations not pathogenic but otherwise similar to this present pathological one. It worked so long as the fleet beat back and forth off Brest, Trafalgar, and Gibraltar.
If you are not going to close the ChiCom looting party — the ideal use of Pacific Pathways — you have to contain it, and in the aggressive manner Kennan prescribed: force them to smaller and smaller operating space.

No visions are needed by the real. In fact, reality shuns visions as if they are morbidly infectious diseases, and they are exactly that.
Were Senator Schumer a man, he would end this charade quickly, and with little effort, by giving Speaker Pelosi, and by extensions her myrmidons, a conference without chairs. Senator Schumer is not a man, however, so sterner stuff is in train.

I find it note-worthy and, for the moment at least, salutary that Ferguson revised his predictions down from horrifying in light of fresh data. He could have chosen to stick the course Michael E. Mann did.
Buttrick mentioned once in a sermon that an expert is a drip under high pressure. I am not sure the jest/jibe was original to him, but it worked to his need. IIRC, his referent was experts in theology, exegesis, and church history.
A huge and soon sanguinary reformation attended, once, turning over the better part of a continent’s daily life to adjudication by the venalities of experts wearing academic and ecclesial habiliments. Business suits, painted nails, coiffed hair, remarkable shoes, pearl necklaces, and frilly underwear make no better covers for harms caused by experts du jour given unwarranted, unscrutinized, unreachable authorities.
Reality — to include human nature — is a mixture. Culture is the form of religion, and religion is the substance of culture. That, famously, is Tillich expounding regarding the mixture man is.
Experts per se are natural and necessary. According them plenary authority for any purpose is unnatural and negligent.
