The Truth Matters, After All

Upon occasion, in human affairs, it becomes necessary to remind functionaries that they are not proprietors.  This observation has reference to that Euro-American mélange of colossal dummies who self-identify as the foreign policy establishment (FPE) as well as to their tools, practitioners, who call themselves the intelligence community (IC).

The foundations are shaking, at last.
A miracle happened today, two in fact.

The US AG and a US DA expressed philosophical and substantive dissatisfaction with a report by the US DOJ IG.  Also John Hinderaker.

The Washington Post published an article about US warfighting in Afghanistan that is true and important.  ZeroHedge followed up.  Also Ed Morrissey.  Related: Raymond Ibrahim: Jihad and Criminality: Inseparable Bedfellows.

I would guess that Saint Comey will have company soon.  Key words from D-FBI Wray’s response to the IG report:

constructive criticism
make us stronger as an organization.
FBI cooperated fully
broad and timely [instead of full and immediate]
highly classified and sensitive material involving national security [aka evidence of our conspiratorial criminal activities]
certain FBI personnel,
vested with significant authorities
exercised with objectivity and integrity
thoughtful, meaningful remedial action
address the Report’s recommendations
our credibility and brand
making improvements
appropriate disciplinary action if warranted [instead of initiate criminal investigation]
required procedures for disciplinary review

The vulgar but not obscene English of which is: go away, and don’t call us, we’ll call you, if it please us.

In September 2010, again in January 2014, again in January 2016, and again in September 2019, I treated the subject of US warfighting in Afghanistan while treating also, in passing and in full, generalities of statecraft.

The posts were titled:

Colonize Afghanistan,
Grand National Strategic Objective: Colonize And Culture-Splice,
Three Brothers Doctrine: USA, Russia, India, Vanguard Of The World In New Being, and
Presidential Executive Order, 10 September 2019,

respectively.

The premise of those posts was that the great nations cannot afford and are not required to tolerate a bag of debauchers, mainly Pashtuns, stuck into their comms, their trade routes, dripping poison into their peoples, for Afghans’ pleasure and profit.

Clear, purify, the great nations’ comms is the strategic objective in Afghanistan.  This is a strategic interest of more than one great nation.  Three nations, three actual brother nations, should and can successfully undertake the mission: USA, Russia, and India.  Colonize and culture-splice Afghanistan is the operational, the tactical objective.

Nation-building Afghanistan is impossible because, as is well-known, Afghanistan is an array of criminal organizations, not a nation, and criminal organizations do not a nation make.  Instead, actual nations must splice themselves into the Afghan countryside to produce nation-worthy families from those lands, to bring forth, show forth, their abundance of good things, first among them being civilized families and legitimate (up-building) commerce.

Let India, USA, and Russia establish and protect towns in Helmand and other provinces, replace poppies with food crops, mining, and industry.  Open schools, intermarry with Afghan women, protect widows and orphans, in this way splicing Indian, Russian, and American culture onto the Afghan countryside.  Even the Chinese may wish to help.

No great nation wants a bag of debauchers straddling their comms.

Chasing criminal organizations around the Afghan countryside and mentoring an aspirational national authority for a country, Afghanistan, that does not exist, all the while leaving Pashtuns in northern Helmand province free to conduct global narcotics, human, and weapons commerce, harms rather than helps the supreme US strategic interest, namely, her own sovereign freedom, which is the only possible reason for deploying any of the three assets of US statecraft: Diplomacy, Finance, War-Fighting.

Simply removing American war-fighting capability from Afghanistan would be an unintelligent and therefore universally dispiriting act, as would be leaving there a token force.  Either one of those acts would harm rather than help the supreme US strategic interest of maintaining her own sovereign freedom, which is the only reason for deploying any of the three assets of US statecraft: Diplomacy, Finance, War-Fighting.

Remember: when you build a house,
you maintain it or you lose it.

So, all indicators point to completing the task undertaken in Afghanistan — wisely as a punitive expedition,  unwisely as nation building but fraught still with auspicious potential — by colonizing and rooting actual nationhood there, splicing onto local stock, as it were, Russian, American, and Indian shoots of civilization.

Let the colonizers work out the details so long as they grow up actual civilizations that breed-out criminal conspiracies.  As regular families, then they themselves will build their own nation, from a base of civilization which already keeps its criminal element in check.  Turn them over to self-governance.

Afghanistan presently has no civilization to keep its criminal element in check.  So, let India, Russia and USA plant civilizations in that land, by colonizing it and culture-splicing their own nationals into the local stocks.  Over a few years, criminality will  come under check, and over a few decades, civilized self-governance will be ready to emerge as actual nationhood, self-built under American, Russian, and Indian protective force.

I can think of no precedent for this concept.

Get on the horn with Moscow and Delhi.  Work it out.  Who goes where with what and how.  It is all both possible and necessary for US, Russian, and Indian national strategic interest.  Reasonable persons, such as the current executives of India, US, and Russia, are going to see it this way.

Again, the great nations, and not only these Three Brothers, cannot afford criminal conspiracies straddling their comms, dripping in chemicals that poison their peoples.  And the assemblage of sovereign nations cannot afford a bag of debauchers wounding their authority.

Young American!  Young-at-heart American!  You want adventure, challenge, risk, danger, riches, self-confidence, novelty, exploration, achievement, the bracing cleanliness of frontier living?  Accost your representatives in the USG to get with India and Russia to guard your back while you, alongside their nationals, colonize and culture-splice yourselves into the land of Afghanistan.

Related to the foregoing is this discussion,
dating from August 2016,
concerning long-range Army planning.

Update 1:

Michael Melcher
The Guardian was always a big fan of Russia when it was known as the Soviet Union.  What has changed?

David R. Graham to Michael Melcher
Russians reverted to Christianity.  That’s what changed.  Socialists hate Christianity.

Michael Melcher to David R. Graham
Good point.  I hadn’t considered that.  The “church” is certainly among the Marx-Engels big three for destruction.

David R. Graham to Michael Melcher
Oh yeah!  Took me, too, a few years to figure out that one.  Once I saw it, I looked around for geo-strategic implications and saw US, India, and Russia aligned for global pacification, restructuring for modern realities, via shutting down their immediate common enemy, Jihad, and checking/undoing their long-term common enemy, ChiComs.  I call it Three Brothers Doctrine at my blog Theological Geography.

Not for nothing is bipartisan fusion EU-US Foreign Policy Establishment (e.g., Pelosi, Kristol, Romney, CFR, US IC, D-R UniParty, Globalists) adamant that Russia/Putin is evil US enemy.  They do so abominate national sovereignties, and Christianity-infused ones the most.

Actually, Russia/Putin, no angels but genuine patriots, even many of their non-Christians, and properly so, are US allies historically as well as in current and even long-term geo-political conditions.

Update 2:

David R. Graham
I think everyone now is just awaiting Michelle’s announcement of candidacy for POTUS.  And more reclamation, in her/handlers’ minds, than candidacy.

Two things stand out to me in this drama:

1- No one, no one, not even Solomon, Attkisson, Hemingway, or Sperry has pursued the individual or group who leaked a transcript of the Flynn-Russian Ambassador conversation.  Why not?

2- Why is Russia/Putin always at the center of Transgressives’ machinations?  What have they against Russia/Putin?  Russian active measures in USA are novel?  Russia/Putin is so central to their epistemology and geo-political taxonomy — on the hate side — that even the late Tory sweep of the UK general election Transgressives blame on Russia/Putin.  I mean, there are so many things of substance Transgressives could cavil about against Americans, why is Russia/Putin always their OCD du jour?

kasandra to David R. Graham
Well, to invoke FISA – the FOREIGN Intelligence Surveillance Act – they needed a plausible foreign involvement. And Americans have validly been conditioned to expect nefarious Russian conduct, And they seemed to have interfered at least at the margins in 2016, so it was convenient for the left to use Russia. It’s interesting to me because I’m old enough to remember most of the Cold War when the left was Russia’s BFF.

David R. Graham to kasandra
Yes, but there is more to it.  OCD.  It reeks.  When the Soviet fell, Clinton/US Foreign Policy Establishment (FPE), aka Globalists, Transgressives, looted Russia and Ukraine under color of helping them learn free market economics.

Putin, like Trump in re USA, saw the fleece and put a stop to it under color of patriotism and Christianity.  Lots of EU-US FPE/NGO rice bowls went unfilled.  Still do, at least from Russia, not so much from Ukraine, as is now evident.

And more than the economics was the ideology.  Russians knew from direct experience that socialism is a disease that makes for misery.  And they never lost their yearning for the numinous.  Putin brought forth the Russian Church as essential to restoring Russian self-confident patriotism.  Globalists cannot forgive him for that.  After all, ideology is their game, they have nothing else besides its fleeting stamina.  Thus their OCD over Russia/Putin.  IMO.

Utter Nobody to David R. Graham
Yeah, that Russia fixation is so weird.  There’s gotta be something there that they’ve managed to hide.

I don’t see Mrs. Obama running.  I don’t think she’d be up for it.

Ryan Campbell to Utter Nobody
Mrs. Obama?  No. Big Mike Robinson?  Maybe.  lol

kasandra to Utter Nobody
It supplied a believable predicate for the Administration’s spying on the Trump campaign – the ‘F’ in FISA.

itellu3times to David R. Graham
Because it’s so perfect – the socialists abhorring the communist.  Makes you think they’re not the same.

Mike to David R. Graham
Demographics and voting blocs.  The older folks in America tend to vote Republican and conservative.  These same folks grew up during the Cold War and the memory of the Soviet/Russian threat remains real to many of them.  I think the DEMS used Russia primarily to peel away voters from Trump.  Another reason is that Putin is not an adherent of the Globalist New World Order.  He is first and foremost for historic Russia.  Say what you will about his treatment of “reporters” and homosexuals and such, it’s my opinion, but shouldn’t all leaders of their countries be concerned first and foremost with their own nations and their own people?  That’s not the Globalist view of things.  Merkel, Macron, Obama, Trudeau etc, don’t seem the least interested in the well being of their own people.  While the Bushes and the Clintons were busy importing tens of millions of low wage uneducated immigrants and enabling the export of millions of American jobs to the third world, were they at all interested in the well being of the average American?  I don’t think so.  Globalists hate non-Globalists.

David R. Graham to Mike
Another reason is that Putin is not an adherent of the Globalist New World Order.  He is first and foremost for historic Russia.

Exceedingly important data points.  And central to that historic Russia Putin and Russians generally treasure is Christianity, which Globalists hate as much as they hate historic patriotism, because Christianity’s high view of man fosters nations and patriotism, rather than Globalists’ deadening, sententious hegemonics.

Globalists are Transgressives.

Joan to David R. Graham
In addition to the valid ideas proposed by posters below, I think it is distraction from the Democrats’ treasonous and corrupt involvement with the Chinese, going back to the Clintons. I think there are payoffs to look the other way as Chinese are infused into sensitive areas of science, technology and business.

Kevin R. to Joan
I think you’re spot on.

People have faith in the results given by scientists of the calculation of planetary distances and sizes.  But they hesitate when confronted with conclusions arrived at by investigators who have seen and shown, experienced and enjoyed the Truths by going into the inner space and inner regions of the Spirit.  It is unreasonable willfulness that makes people stick to the beliefs they have accepted as unchallengeable.  As the statement goes, The subterranean fire can be grasped in the palm and the sky can be contacted as a concrete entity; but one can never refine the mind of an obtuse and obstinate person.  For one can awaken a person who sleeps; one can make a person who is not asleep to rise and move; but one can never awaken a fellow who pretends to be asleep.  Willfully avoiding the illumination of knowledge is a sin against spirituality.  Our students must welcome light at all times and from all quarters.
