The fatwa in the modern era bears a polemical intent against a target outside what is considered Islam by the issuers.

Polemical is perhaps too intellectualizing a word to describe that intent and hostile-agressive-attack against a perceived enemy would be more accurate.

Islamic representatives particularly of Sharia are fighting hard, as we know, to stave off the presence of western values and mores.

So, construing this fatwa (forbiding spouses from viewing one another’s nakedness during love-making) to comprise yet another reason for slaughtering westerners — i.e., they are bastards — probably is necessary — indicating that this fatwa does indeed raise [yet another] significant concern in re the evil bastards who would issue it.

As chief theologian of the Western Church at this time, I declare perverse and therefore invalid this and all other fatwas aiming other than to strengthen the spiritual life of Muslims. And I anathematize the stochastic structure employed by the issuers of such fatwas as this and all others not driven by the power of God.

Clerics lack authority to govern the affairs of men, either cultural, religious or moral. Fatwas are meant to govern the affairs of men in culture, religion and morality. They are, therefore, invalid and absurd, all of them.

The role of clergy is to conserve and interpret in understandable terms — that is, through apologetic theology — the symbols and the media of the self-revelations of God. Any other activity by clergy demonstrates that they are imposters, not clergy, and is an abomination.
