The problem basically is theological and involves a spiritual recrudescence and improvement of human character that will synchronize with our almost matchless advances in science, art, literature, and all material and cultural developments of the past 2,000 years. It must be of the spirit if we are to save the flesh.

America’s problems are drugs, promiscuity, and step-parents, not poverty, race, and immigrants.

The time has arrived to clear away the pedants, the meddlers, the criminals, the mutineers, and the freeloaders. Call it The American Clearances. Clear them away from public spaces, clear them out of public institutions, and clear them off of public bandwidth.

For several months now, national communications have been motionless as if by stalemate. So-called conservatives are aroused, finally, to grasping situations, but they propound no solutions. So-called progressives are driven, finally, to distraction, but they seek no illuminations.

What few solutions are offered to one and rest to the other each dismisses haughtily.

So, nothing is getting done. Comms firing, affairs immobile. The real problems are masked from practically anyone’s remediation by confusion and chaos emanating from hordes of pedants, meddlers, criminals, mutineers, and freeloaders.

These five are ready to be swept away, as well they should be, as for much they deserve, so that leaders are freed to solve the nation’s deep problems: drugs, promiscuity, and step-parents.
