Countrymen,
ORBIS NON SUFFICIT
SOLUS DEUS SUFFICIT
The international order (paradigm) constructed by allies victorious in WWII had as basic assumption that USA, being strongest and most prosperous country in world — The Soviet has capable military but is not and probably never will be a major economic/political power — is guilty of being too prosperous and too capable militarily and therefore owes it to other countries to pay their way in the world and buy their blessings with money, privilege, and USA assurances of being NOT inclined to nuke them.
(Billions of dollars worth of fungible materials, loaded on pallets in US AF transport aircraft and night-delivered to Iran, illustrate the paradigm.)
In effect, the USA was to conduct affirmative action for the globe’s other nations, preferential treatment and the rest, to make those other nations feel like equals with the big dog or at least welcome on the Georgetown cocktail circuit. Actually, as is the case with all preferential treatment, the paradigm demeaned other nations — secretly, it was meant to — making them surly and ungrateful, unsurprisingly. For which see the so-called United Nations. Woodrow Wilson. Q.E.D.
The debilitating economic effect of this paradigm was not felt in the USA until about 1970, when those other countries rose sufficiently to their feet and legs actively to exploit USA leadership’s deceptive guilt trip. Those countries sped up their transfer of wealth from the USA to themselves with ever-increasing diligence and pugnacity. Their self-respect went the other direction, of course.
No man is a thief or knowingly caters to one.
The USA foreign policy establishment was happy to oblige thieving nations and remains so. Pay for friends and do not frighten them with military mumblings. We can afford it, being strong and prosperous, and no one will take serious advantage of our largesse or seriously try our military superiority. We’re just too big and powerful for that to happen, and besides, we owe it all to those little guys, those lesser nations, to keep them safe from each other and from us.
(So Famiglia Saud embargoes oil from American-built-and-run facilities, and later, PRC gates the South China Sea and certain transshipment straits with wealth stolen from Americans with indulgence from Americans’ leader cadre.)
That was the paradigm built then and still assumed — and wanted!, because rice bowls — by almost the entire USA leader cadre, especially the so-called US foreign policy establishment. It is canon law to Five Eyes.
Its real goal, of course — consistent with the real goal of affirmative action — was and is to dominate other nations, and that real goal emerges into public view and bald promotion in the early 1990s as the so-called ideal of global governance.
(Simultaneously and not coincidentally, the phrase politically correct, a Soviet rubric for social control, gains rampancy in the USA.)
By 2009 the real goal — fundamental transformation of America reduced to a mere region of the globe depending on governance by practitioners belonging to a globe-controlling technocratic elite — makes not a pretense of modesty or concealment. It fairly jumps into action limited only by its own laziness, which in the event, and blessedly, is enormous.
This post-WWII paradigm was Socialist from inception. Therefore, it was and remains anti-Christian, anti-American, anti-freedom, anti-law, anti-sovereignty, and anti-history.
Comes Donald Trump, a Christian, patriotic businessman who has used decades to study USA national affairs and their causes. He sees both the nonsense — USA should self-guilt — and the malice — USA actually should dominate, but deceptively — of the paradigm developed and emplaced by the USA Socialist Establishment — aka USA foreign policy establishment — following WWII. Think George Kennan, Kennan’s friend Robert Oppenheimer, a Soviet deep agent, Unitarians (Harvard, Princeton, Columbia), Quakers (Earlham, Cornell), and Brigands (Yale).
Donald Trump says USA power and competence are occasions of esteem, not guilt. He says, USA demeans nations by offering to buy them as friends. He says, USA must not meddle in the affairs of sovereign nations unless those nations essay to harm Americans and their nation. He says, let nations trade with us but fairly so that our wealth stays with us and their wealth stays with them. Reciprocity is the standard of trade, as it should be in all human affairs. He says, USA has no corner on virtue, all nations comprise perishing humans. He says, let us deal fairly with one another and neither feign guilt to mask manipulation nor impose mandates under color of virtue. He says, if the USA does well, everyone does well. He says, truly, that if scheming technorati — aka Socialists — could achieve their goal of global governance, all would be slaves, to include scheming technorati Socialists.
This is a radical paradigm shift from that of the post-WWII consensus. Every POTUS and USA foreign policy establishment minion since WWII — Reagan and Kennan included — revered the same paradigm: guilt, sententious iron fist, let the nations — and especially the global governance mobs, Socialist and Moslem — dominate the USA, not to preserve her but to loot and subjugate her.
POTUS Trump comes to town and sweeps all of that away.
This, the mobs say — at minimum — is vulgar of him and shows a lack of decorum.
Mobs say that, descanting on decorum.
POTUS Trump has the sensibility of a patriotic American Christian Gentleman.

Update 1: Time to be proud of one’s country and not feel guilty regarding her puissance and prosperity. Paradigm in USA since WWII — bled over to Europe — has been: let others pick our pockets because, after all, we have too much anyhow and owe it to others to give them what they want that we have. Paradigm shift indeed! Return to sanity.
Properly seen, USA power and prosperity tells other countries, “Do likewise for yourselves, we want you to do that, and to be happy, so long as you do not take advantage of us, or otherwise harm us.” So many rice-bowls in D.C. depend on helping non-citizens loot Americans’ powers and prosperities under color of empathy. POTUS Trump was sent to D.C. to put a stop to that insanity.
And he is doing that, the true decorum.

I don’t think he’s done it yet by any means. They’re pouring over the border at a record pace, & they’re not being sent back.
David R. Graham to mrdoug1
Paradigm shift precedes effective execution. All other POTUSes did marginal executions without shifting the paradigm from weaponized empathy to self-confident respect. POTUS Trump is doing that.
This lady in Denmark promises to act in parallel.
First the paradigm has to shift. That is underway, and not only in USA. Effective execution flows from that or not at all. The Brexit movement is the same paradigm shift. Al Sisi conducts his version of it in Egypt, as does Bibbi in Israel, Salvini in Italy, Modi in India, Putin in Russia, Abe in Japan, etc.
Jim Pratt to David R. Graham
Victor Davis Hanson wrote a book, The Soul of Battle in which he shows that democracies (and republics) will tolerate abuse by foreigners for way too long, but that when they finally wake up, they are the most ferocious fighting forces on the planet. In the end, they are defending their own, not some government granted property, but what they worked for. That time is coming to Europe and the the US. It will not be pretty. Remember, all the immigrants really have is our own good nature. When they suppress even that, they will be destroyed. A society based on suppression and destruction cannot survive on its own, it must have a host. When the host is denied, it collapses.
David R. Graham to Jim Pratt
Thanks for the thoughts, good to ponder. They put me in mind of something I was thinking yesterday. Working from the famous Mothers Day poem by William Ross Wallace, The hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world, I thought, So if the world is in a mell of a hess, women are to blame?
And I wondered why Moslem women put up with how they are treated. Our daughter reported, years ago, sitting in an airport in Kuwait awaiting a plane and observing an affluent Arab couple sit the wife nearby across from her while the husband went off somewhere. Wife in full body cover, expensive, eye slit only open. Our daughter reported watching the wife follow the husband away with her eyes and seeing in them the fiercest, most terrifying hatred she had ever seen up until that day.
And I thought of our feminazis, who revel in ruling the world, and the world in a mell of a hess and the great prophetic power of poets such as who bear two Scottish names.
I do not blame the women. I blame the men who must answer for them and for hatred women cultivate against men. Women are not weak. And men are responsible for women.

Update 3:
1- Continetti IS the liberal/neocon foreign policy establishment (aka globalist, fear-mongering swindlers) wanting to appease Iran and reinstall D-R UniParty’s sell-out of US sovereignty. Married to a chief swindler’s daughter, or was not too long ago. Family matters, pace Maggie T.
2- This analysis excludes two actors: Israel and the gulf state monarchies.
3- POTUS Trump knows the force levels needed for direct battle with Iran. The technical term is: overwhelming.
4- Russia is reported to have told Iran that they are on their own in a shootout with USA. This move, whether it happened or not, is completely rational and predictable relative to Russia’s strategic conditions and needs.
5- Were I to guess at realities behind the fog of war puffing forth from USA, Iran, and the other two actors mentioned here by me, it would be that Iran plans to continue attacking gulf state monarchy energy assets (she must restrict supply by others) and USA-Coalition and gulf state monarchies are preparing to open a gap in the Iranian line (Soleimani) for Israeli assets to breeze through to cross the goal line of ayatollah annihilation, overwhelming.
