Paraphrasing Julius Caesar’s famous announcement, Hillary Clinton infamously declared regarding Muammar Gaddafi, We came, we saw, he died. She could have declared, We came, we saw, we lied.
Early in 2011, and under orders from their boy wonder Hussein, Jarrett, Clinton, Power, Monaco, Ruemmler, and Rice threw USG kinetic assets into Libya to clear a path for the Moslem Brotherhood, the Socialist and Salafist Ikhwan, to take control of Libya and Libyan oil.
Doctrine they replaced with dreams, facts they replaced with fancies. The result was weeping and chaos and a whole lot of lies.
Simultaneously, the six frights were maneuvering to install Mohamed Morsi, a Brotherhood principal, as President [For Life] of Egypt. Libya abuts Egypt. The six frights and their boy wonder dreamed of one big, rich, happy Socialist country –Egybya — forever ruled, and with plenty of petrodollars, by the Salafist Brotherhood (Ikhwan).
Boy wonder is a devotee and protege of Edward Wadie Said, a Salafi Arab/Pan-African Imperialist.
Simultaneously they propagandized Americans to believe that the Moslem Brotherhood comprises moderate Islam, fully imbued with Western values, democracy and the rest.
It was all lies defending mere dreams, fancies disconnected from realities. And the dreams contemplated power and fortune for a few and grateful obedience from the rest. As ever is and always will be for Socialists, whether fascistic or communistic . . . and Socialists are AC/DC in that regard.

So these Socialist dream-chasers went to their natural allies, the Moslem Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda, the Bolivarians, the ChiComs, the Eurocrats, and, ahead of all the rest, the Ayatollahs.
Note please that to this day those vectors form alliances this way and that against representative government supported by consent of the governed. Their commonality is Socialism, a continually receding fire-flaked dream of mundane utopian absolutism that is just within reach but never grasped because it is a dream merely. Yet it grasps the attention of abnormal personalities, who lay waste all they can contact just for the fun of pursuing their dream. Abnormal personalities actually enjoy frustration, in part because it fuels them with anger, which they feel as power.
Ayman al-Zawahiri, an Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood member who went to live with fellow Salafists of Al-Qaeda, benefitted from the death of UBL. He and his prayer bump got unified command — theirs — of AQ and affiliated organizations. He fails to bring ISIL under his command, however. Al-Baghdadi tells Zawahiri to pound sand, ISIL is unique, prepotent, disinclined to submission.
Boy wonder and his six frights remove the bulk of US kinetic force from Iraq and install micromanagement (from NSC) and irrational ROEs (also from NSC) over the remnant in order to clear a path for the Ayatollahs’ march to Beirut.
Then, by way of a one-and-done election, they install Mohamed Morsi — a moderate Moslem [dictator], they say — to rule Egypt [for life]. Morsi, along with the Brotherhood generally, is an Ayatollah ally. So, with Morsi ruling Egypt, a Socialist dream nears to reality, or so they thought: Egypt and Libya united under the Brotherhood, who then is weighted with Libyan petrodollars and freighted to pay Global Salafi Jihad forward more enormously than theretofore.
Then the dream goes poof up right in front of them. Their ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens, is murdered as they stand by dangling their bonnets and plumes. And, Oh!, what a tangled web they did weave and while they did fret and while they did fume. Reality melted their dream and, although they knew that it had, they had zero ability to deal with the fact and its consequences. Someone else wanted Muammar Gaddafi’s arsenal and did not want the Brotherhood ruling Libya. Someone the six frights could have taken seriously.
Stevens was in Benghazi with insufficient security to help the CIA transfer the arsenal of Muammar Gaddafi, who was murdered by the six frights, to CIA assets in Syria (Moslem Brotherhood, going to ISIL) and no doubt elsewhere. The stink of Iran-Contra encore.
Then The Egyptian Army, led by Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, kicked Morsi out and decapitated the founding Egyptian chapter of the Moslem Brotherhood. High noon for The Arab Spring, aka the Moslem Brotherhood’s rule of Egybya.
Meanwhile, back in Iraq and Syria, already in 2010 elements of AQ’s Salafi Jihad are planning a landed Caliphate across Syria and Iraq, vectoring eastward directly into the path of the Ayatollahs’ plans to rule the same territory by vectoring themselves westward. The former named their Caliphate ISIS/ISIL. Boy wonder and his six frights rejected the news, convincing themselves ISIS could not play with the big boys and would self-destruct very soon.
On the contrary, in energetic maneuver warfare, ISIL took real estate dearly bought by American and Iraqi Armed Forces, Diplomacy, and Finance and obstructed Iranian intentions flowing right at them. Not only so, but ISIL also threatened typically ponderous Moslem Brotherhood assets, Turkey-supported, operating in northwestern and southwestern Syria against Bashar Al-Assad’s regime.
At that point, boy wonder and his six frights moved towards parsimoniously deploying and tightly restricting US force assets as forward artillery for the Ayatollahs and the Brotherhood against ISIS, who the NSC came to call ISIL. CIA meanwhile essays to train and equip Moslem Brotherhood and other (?) assets in Syria against Assad and, supposedly, ISIL. John McCain approves the mission and allows himself to be photographed with top Salafi commanders, including Al-Baghdadi. But of course the training stinks and the equipment along with its bearers disappear to reinforce ISIL. Typical CIA activity: dumb, dumber, and dumbest.
This scrambled drama reveals a critical piece of intelligence to a careful observer. Neither the Ayatollahs nor their allies of the Moslem Brotherhood is loyal to Bashar Al-Assad. The so-called Shia alliance between Tehran and Damascus is miscalculated and misunderstood by boy wonder and his six frights and, more to the point, by the whole goddamn US foreign policy establishment.
Moslem Brotherhood Salafis were content to join ISIL to attack both the Ayatollahs and Al-Assad. In this disposition they reflected the interests of Turkey, upon whom they were in train of standing and today stand, boot on neck. So, the alliance between the Brotherhood and the Ayatollahs, of which there has been much talk and also evidence, still does not admit of perpetuity, at least not in the thoughts of the Brotherhood and Turkey.
And since the Moslem rulers of Turkey and Iran are accustomed through the centuries to address one another in terms of abuse, one can estimate that battle today in the Levant and Middle East comprises in large one proto-empire endeavoring to restore itself north, east, and south (Ottomans) while another proto-empire endeavors to restore itself north, west, and south (Persians).
Russians have their own reasons for basing in Syria. Inside this scrambled drama, they saw that al-Assad had no friends and, for their own strategic reasons, resolved to keep him planted where he is. He is more comfortable, in any case, with Russians and Americans than he is with Ayatollahs, regardless of aid received and given through the years from/to the latter. Russians, after all, are far, far, far more capable than Iranians in practically any way needful. They are even better bullshitters.
Boy wonder and his six frights are consistent: everything they do supports first Iran and second the Moslem Brotherhood. With the latter they support also boy wonder’s pal Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Moslem Brotherhood Turkey. Socialism down the line. Socialism is the common thread, to include with Eurocrats.
Socialism is a dream. Taken seriously, it is a disease.
Because of their Socialism, boy wonder and his six furies picked the losing horse. Typical.
US/Coalition MENA commanders are not told the goal is to support Ayatollahs/Brotherhood. Some must have figured it out. Instead, those commanders are left formally without a strategic goal, an ultimate reason to fight, which military doctrine states is the first essential of successful engagement.
Killing is murder. War is directed at a strategic goal or it is killing. No Warrior wants to kill because killing is dishonorable. Every Warrior wants to win a war quickly and with the least cost in blood and treasure to one and all. That is honorable. However, there can be war, rather than killing, only in the presence of a clearly stated purpose for war, a grand national strategic objective that is rational relative to the nation’s actual needs (independence and sovereignty top the list) and clearly articulated as strategic interests that guide the strategy and tactics of diplomacy, finance, and war-fighting, the three assets of statecraft.
Those prerequisites of military action — clear, rational strategic objective and enumerated strategic interests integral with that objective — boy wonder and his six frights denied USA military commanders and civilian authorities, to include ambassadors, in MENA. They had to. They had none that were rational and therefore had no objectives in MENA that were of strategic interest to the USA. They dreamed of Socialist utopia over MENA and everyone under their rules-based international order. Geography and other facts on the ground, of whatever nature, were inimical to NSC discussions.
Only the vision mattered. NSC and State girls learned everything needful at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Stanford. Current conditions are irrelevant.
Meanwhile, Special Presidential Envoy Brett McGurk, military commanders, and civilian authorities in MENA made up strategy — with implied strategic interests, policies, and tactics — on the fly. And the CIA continued their high-handed muck march for general misery.
All because dreams, not doctrines, fantasies, not facts, drove the doings at NSC, State, and CIA and forced to a like insanity many of the doings at DOD. Particularly effective was NSCs discouragement of senior military officers from discharging their duty to provide senior civilian officers with grand national strategic intelligence, estimates, contemplations, and considerations. Boy wonder and his six furies wanted none of that. Conflicted with the dreams. Don’t want to hear it. Thus their cruel and stupid treatment, to this day, of LTG Flynn.
The explanation of Benghazi is: Socialist Visionaries value their vaporware above all real value, never fess up to the stink they vector, and in consequence degrade towards extinction the freedom of American citizens and the national independence and sovereignty of The USA.
Hillary Clinton also infamously said, this time regarding the murder of her Ambassador Stevens at Benghazi, What difference, at this point, does it make?
Well, does it?
Benghazi is evidence of the so-called deep state’s loyalty to Socialism rather than to Americans and America and to their fabulous dreams/fantasies rather than to reliably familiar doctrines/facts guaranteed by long experience. This realization should strengthen those called to deal with these poor dumb bastard abnormals.
When you hear talk of vision, you hear Socialists. They dream theft, preach lies, and retail chaos. That is all they do.
