The deal to make, TrumpTeam, is aligning three sovereign, brother nation states — India, USA, Russia — as the global leadership for inter-nation relations. Here is the formula, the core reality, from the USA’s point of view, for making the deal, for recognizing its substance and outcome, for implementing the deal and for maintaining it:
National sovereignty resting in citizens’ personal freedom
is the prius of Three Brothers Doctrine and the Objective
of USA Grand National Strategic and Tactical endeavor.
For some years I, like millions of others, have been aware that something is wrong and/or missing from US foreign policy. That sense increased sharply in 2007 when The Fraud announced s/he had finished measuring for curtains in the White House and was ready to occupy it. And of course, like millions of others, I have watched in horror and sorrow as those premonitions were made incarnate deliberately as pan-optic blood and destruction.
What has been missing, I think, is a USA Grand National Strategic Objective that is reasonable (in the sense of Clausewitz’s Trinity Doctrine). What has been wrong is the impulse to manipulate rather than to detach and the impulse to contain rather than to defeat.
So I thought to myself, what would proper USA foreign policy look like, how would it sound and implement up and out? Can one get ahead of the terror one cannot stop and conceptualize a restoration of freedom and sovereignty on the other side of it, assuming there is to be an other side of it (spoiler: there always is, God is neither dead nor kill-able)?
Years of thinking along those lines, largely with the help of struggling with insights in posts and comments on favorite blogs, including this one [The Conservative Treehouse], and ruminating upon seminal literature brought me to cognize what I think is already in the birth canal, so to speak: a globe-settling alignment of three brother nations: India, USA and Russia. I call it Three Brothers Doctrine. I have mentioned that once or twice before here and, with your indulgence, I would like to do so again, now adding what I think is a precise and potent formulation of the core reality:
National sovereignty resting in citizens’ personal freedom
is the prius of Three Brothers Doctrine and the Objective
of USA Grand National Strategic and Tactical endeavor.

Update 9: Well, the Pandava brothers made a huge mistake in betting — and losing — their wife Droupadi (polyandry legitimate then) on a rigged game of chance with the Kaurava brothers to win back the kingdom the Kauravas had usurped from them. Still, Krishna sided with them when the war came because, as He said, paraphrasing, It comes down to who is right and who is wrong. Yes, the Pandava brothers should not have bet Droupadi, their wife. That was a big and costly mistake. Moreover, they should not have agreed to play a rigged game. They were stupid and are paying and will pay dearly for that. But the big question here is who is rightful heir to the throne, Pandavas or Kauravas, and the answer to that is: Pandavas. Therefore, I will fight on the Pandava side, because, even though Pandavas and Kauravas are of the same family, they are not of the same legal right in respect to the throne. The Kauravas are usurpers and cheats in that respect. The Kauravas are wrong and the Pandavas are right. I fight for the Pandavas, for what is right [Dharma].

Trump’s “tweets” work because the cut through the clutter and come so fast that The Machine cannot deal with them.
Analyzing those tweets as if they are either legal documents or a thesis paper misses their purpose, and with it very reason for their — and Trump’s — success.
Trump and those tweets are as “silly” as that rag-tag bunch of colonials who foolishly thought that dragging a few heavy cannons up onto Breed’s Hill would frighten the British and drive them out of Boston Harbor.

Are you kidding? Nice lawyerly parse job.
Every deplorable reading that tweet knows, full well, the irony Trump is alluding to.
News flash Paul! Tweets aren’t briefs. They do seem to twist yours though.
