Three Brothers Doctrine: Freedom And Sovereignty

RAMANAM
In the Name of The Father, and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit, Amen.

Countrymen,

ORBIS NON SUFFICIT
SOLUS DEUS SUFFICIT

National sovereignty resting in citizens’ personal freedom is the prius of Three Brothers Doctrine and the Objective of USA Grand National Strategic and Tactical endeavor.

For the past two weeks or so, my comments on posts at Power Line addressed the phenomenology of freedom and sovereignty, one way and another.  I think this phenomenology is the substance of what deniers of it have put at trial during my career, which started in 1943.

Their great attack against it was the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, who, for all his personal faults, was an American Patriot. He believed in personal freedom for all citizens and national sovereignty for the USA.  I believe the election of Donald and Melania Trump, finally, heals the wound inflicted by freedom and sovereignty deniers on the USA and her citizens.  Typologically, that election also heals the virtual wound inflicted on all nations and their citizens on that 22nd day of November 1963.

Personal freedom and national sovereignty are powers of being.  They are not the let of a government, the leave of a bureaucrat, the brainstorm of a social scientist, the theory of a scientist, the argument of a lawyer, the passion of a professor, the protection of a constitution or the will of a demographic.  They transcend finitude and its conditionality.  They transcend even the category of inalienable rights.  They are powers belonging to Being Itself (esse ipsum).

Christmas hears and sees freedom and sovereignty
emerging in the most appalling circumstances.

There follow comments I have made of late at Power Line and Instapundit (once) which dance with the phenomenology of freedom and sovereignty.

Trump becoming conservative?  Perhaps the Power Line Team is discovering their inner Trump.  Sovereignty and freedom — national sovereignty and personal freedom — built out and up as American culture, Gentlemen, is the objective.  DJT has been a practitioner for as long as I can remember.  Political taxonomies like liberal, moderate and conservative are harbors for vessels unworthy of the ocean sea.

I think it is most accurate and useful to consider Israel a sovereign nation state and leave Jewish out of it.  US policy in re Israel should be conducted as towards any other sovereign nation state.  Israel’s alignment with USA and vice versa rests on a cultural and therefore political similarity, namely, both are multi-religious and multi-racial.  Religious particularity should be left out of the calculations.  It is not appropriate for either of these nations, either internally or externally.

The foreign policy question is: does Israel present a threat or an aid to the exercise of USA national sovereignty, and vice versa? Googoo brains about apocalyptic struggles, religious heritage, moral imperatives, etc. are just that: googoo.  The cold, hard mind of statecraft is the only posture appropriate for USA-Israeli relations.

The Fraud’s rhymes-with-bucks action yesterday surprises and infuriates no one who knows his loyalties.  Like him, this too will pass, as will his Guru, the Siamese-twin Globalism(CIA)-Salafism(Moslem Brotherhood).  And more quickly and decisively than one might expect.  The Siamese-twin appears to see that more clearly than his brooding mark does.

Fair trade, not free trade.  Libertarian Conservative (Bill Safire), not Conservative.  What have Conservatives ever accomplished beyond sound ponderable?

Churchill was a great man, but he was wrong to insist on indirect trust at Berlin through Rome.  Only the German General Commanding in Rome kept that city from being obliterated.  Monte Cassino, the Benedictine Mother Abbey, was not so fortunate.  Not driving directly into Germany through France and the Low Lands in 1943 — the move Churchill personally nixed — was strategically and tactically inexcusable.  It prolonged the war, gave Stalin time to claim skin in the game, precipitated unnecessary infrastructure destruction and guaranteed the effusion of Allied and Axis blood on D-Day Europe and following.

Soldiers end wars quickly and decisively, to save lifes and property.  They do not prolong wars.  They have to pay the price of war.  Professors, lawyers and politicians do not.  They prolong wars using pretty, a priori concepts hatched during afternoon tea or stronger in faculty lounges, teak-paneled conference rooms and gold-embossed offices and arcades.

Churchill, Roosevelt and MacArthur were cousins through Colonial inter-marriage, and knew it.

Trump Tower, Mar-a-Lago, steady stream of competents — including The High Court of Tech — knows most of the top-responsibility personalities around the world, beautiful, clean, accomplished wives and children, perfection in all things seen and unseen.

If this be lack of class, I’ll have another helping, thank you very much!

Paradox, not lack of class.  The unexpected, not the boorish.  Fulfilling and transcending the rules — which are man-made and of fleeting utility! — not intimidated or oppressed by them.  Sounds positively Christian to me.

Show me a man whose family is as loyal to him, through thick and thin, in constant spotlight, as DJT’s family is to him, and I will show you a man fit for the White House.

… and their task now is to get them back.

Wrong!  Their task now is to shut up, admit their being the Democratic-Republican Uniparty and thank God, man and Donald and Melania Trump that they can continue now to have a country to strut about it.  Like other Uniparty propaganda fonts, The Federalist rejects the restoration of patriotism which has occurred from within and across the country.

DJT’s election has healed the wound the Left inflicted on the country through the assassination of JFK and all the chaos which followed thereon.  The Uniparty, which always has been leftist, inflicted the wound.  Now we get to watch competent people inspire the nation’s self-confidence once again.  It is a new world structurally and substantially different from what we have lived through since 22NOV63.  Old world political assumptions ignore facts.

What approach would have such appeal?

One one does not expect and could not imagine but finds attractive?  Like his actions post-09NOV16?

It is a Weltanschauung Neo-Cons, much less RINOs, do not control and can not fathom but nonetheless find not inimical because it is realistic (successful) where they are habitualistic (predictable).  A world of thoroughbreds rather than debreds.  Competents rather than components.  Artists rather than art critics.  The elegant rather than the respectable.  The free rather than the cachet-ed.

USA, India and Russia are natural and necessary allies to (1) quieten MENA (the little problem) and (2) triangulate China (the big problem).  A fresh alignment of leader nation states globe-positive for all vectors of human endeavor.  Neo-Cons and RINOs could never conceive that live-birth.  Would never.  They are obsessed with their achievements and blind to opportunities until presented with success through them.

My wife and I took our family out of San Diego and then CA itself 30+ years ago because, having grown up in SoCal, we knew the leader cadre’s impulses and took them for fascist in nature.  We were right.  We loved and still love Spanish culture — post-cannibal Mexican culture, too — but it has its limitations, this being one of them.  Scots of the 18th Century, with their Calvinist, Roman and Anglican refining, really did figure things out accurately and say so clearly.  We benefit from institutions they created to embody their sagacity.

Again, expectation of a priori categories (words, ideologies), inattention to primal practices (decisions, inspirations).  Conventional taxonomy of political philosophies failed to stop DJT from winning the election, why would one think it applies to that win’s consequences?

With respect, John, you do not factor in the depth to which the electorate spurns war with Russia, or the depth to which the depth of the electorate’s wishes matter.  It is why Mitt lost in 2012 and any R but DJT would have.  No one sees Russia as Angelic Stewards of the Gates of Heaven.  But no one except conservatives and progressives, who have no risk in combat operations, thinks Russia is an occasion for war.  Oh yeah, Kristol and Podhortez and The Fraud are perfectly willing to get Americans killed, but their offspring and yours are not in uniform as trigger pullers, are they?

FWIW:

1- Russia, China, Israel, Germany, etc., hack USA systems public and private all the time. A nd USA right back at them, all the time.  Everyone knows it.

2- HRC’s and DNC’s systems were/are easily hackable and info they contain/ed is useful for an array of purposes to whomever has possession of it.  Everyone knows that.

3- D-R Uniparty’s anger is not over a hack, it is over leaks of information regarding their machinations.  Everyone knows that.

4- Even if every major country in the world had that information, IMHO, the most likely source for the leaks of it is/was a person(s) inside the Federal Executive Branch or the DNC.  I even think everyone knows that, deep down at least.

5- I think that based on the timing of the fake news storyline: the leaks were in public view well before election day; no lefty cried fake news, not until after election day; I think lefties expected to win the election and one or more of three things happened: (1) they leaked the information to inoculate HRC against Congressional scrutiny; (2) a Bernie supporter(s) leaked at least some of the information, and may have paid for doing that with their life; (3) the White House, DOJ and/or CIA leaked the information out of spite for HRC and to keep her on their leash.

In any case, tempest in a teapot and Tempus Fugit.  Blessed is the man who consults not with the ungodly, nor sits in the company of sinners.  Now, the fake news storyline is meant to cover HRC’s election disaster in the same way that the disrespectful video storyline was meant to cover HRC’s Benghazi disaster, and will meet the same end as its predecessor.

Richard Fernandez: God knew what He was doing.  Stalin did not.

Yes, history moves by impersonal force.  Classic Communism, though not Hegalianism, BTW.  Hegel’s weakness was asserting he knew where history moved to (even though his Phenomenology said he did not), not that histoical development was extra-human, meaning, outside the dialectics of Spirit (Geist).  Hegel was no fool, like Marx and Freud, but he was weak.  DJT — and the Bible, BTW — says history is made by personal initiative.  It jolly well is, and one of the Persons making it is The Almighty.

Russia is not the problem.  An obsolete world-view is the problem, embodied by McCain and the rest of the D-R Uniparty who is trying to flip an election and an elected.  Well, obsolete is obsolete, scream, kick and growl as you will … march you must.  At trial now is the succeeding world-view.  I guarantee you this much: it involves an allegiance alliance between India, USA and Russia.

… it will be even easier to find pundits eager to supply pro-Trump commentary.

Sure, the ones frightened to do so during the shelling and now, on a quiet field and despite their lack of mettle and medals attesting heroism, imply they really have been ad meliorem and not ad pejorem all along, or at least wanted to be when the timing was right (aka, the shelling stopped).  And have not temerity to bring up that incessant deluge of appalling nouns and adjectives, since June 2015, for abusing DJT and disabusing his voters of their loyalty to the movement he did not create but represents.

Tillich said that is the difference between Americans and Europeans: ad meliorem and ad pejorem, respectively. He said that some decades ago. MacArthur noted the struggle between national leaders who wanted to be like Europe, facing the country backwards, to the east, across the Atlantic (i.e., towards ad pejorem), and those who wanted to be like the American Westward Movement, facing the country in its historic vector of development, forwards, to the west, following the sun across the Pacific (i.e., towards ad meliorem).

Roughly speaking, the CIA/Moslem Brotherhood/D-R Uniparty, who is firing their first salvos at the President-Elect — how dare you dare to executive us?! — represents the backwards, Atlantic crowd and the DOD represents the forwards, Pacific crowd.  The electorate chose between them.  Properly.

Give The Fraud at least this one: s/he wanted to face the country westward across the Pacific, probably for Salafism’s sake, not America’s sake, but still … right conceptual direction.  Got shut down by the Atlantic (ad pejorem) crowd, but still, DOD got at least one four-star service HQ in the Pacific where, for the Army at least, there had been just one Corps HQ (three-star) there.  So that is good, ad meliorem.

I think DJT is not a conservative or a liberal.  I think he considers that dichotomy and those like it child’s play, intellectual trifling, beneath concern.  I think he is a builder.  I think holding said dichotomy places one on the bank barking and harping rather than in the water making passage.

But Lord, we cannot cross that sea!

Walk into it.

Yes it is wrong to gloat.  And neither a fleeting good feeling nor millions doing it makes it right.  Three reasons: (1) it is a waste of time and you are losing time irrevocably each moment; (2) gloating cuts communication with one whose friendliness one day you will want; and (3) you lack the purity that would make a gloat lethal outgoing rather than on the recoil.

Liberal Theology (Albrecht Ritschl) — especially its later iteration, Liberation Theology ( Gustavo Gutiérrez) — is Communism with a faux-Christian storyline derived from eisegesis of the Parable of the Good Samaritan.  DJT is a Christian builder.

The recent election was The Church cleansing Herself of simony.

Rush gave a monologue today salient to this post.  The topic was the rally speech last evening, and in particular the emphasis on unity as Americans with one flag and one citizenship, no identity boxes.  Rush said he arrives at that fundamental through ideology, conservatism, but DJT arrives at it through observing the debilitating effects of identity politics.

He said DJT’s approach is the one that makes the broad connection with voters, inspiring mutual love and trust.  In other words, ideology — e.g., conservatism — while useful to an extent is not going to win elections — because, I say, it lacks moral courage to overcome its opponent’s election fraud.  Conservatism, like its twin, leftism, is really for only a numerically small, self-selecting group of the financially privileged who never in a thousand years is going to connect with voters in a manner of strength sufficient to undo its rival ideology, leftism.

If leftism has gone dry by this election — and I think it has — so has its polar partner, conservatism.  Trump brought in existentialism, connecting with how people actually feel and aspire, not trying to appease a club of sharpies seeking to game a college debate, for their precious amusement, which is all conservatism vice leftism really is.

I for one am not interested from now in what is conservative or what is leftist.  I am interested in what is existential, what is happening as seen and ruminated upon without pre-formed expectations regarding what is or will be observed.

Everyone knows the regnant stochastic structure — Globalism(CIA)/Salafism(Moslem Brotherhood), sans nation states — is stupid and requires replacing, in toto.  What they do not know is by what stochastic structure.  That is where the Three Brothers Doctrine/Alliance to quieten MENA and move on to check China comes in, answers the question.  Three Brothers is the basis in modern circs for achieving the USA grand national strategic GOAL of national sovereignty secured by (1) decisive defensive/offensive capability and (2) fair trade practices with other sovereign nation states.

National sovereignty resting in citizens’ personal freedom is the prius of Three Brothers Doctrine and the Objective of USA Grand National Strategic and Tactical endeavor.

Update 5: The notion that refugees and immigrants should be admitted to a sovereign nation without caveat or demurrer is conjured by two essentials of Liberation Theology, itself a successful KGB subversion operation: precarity and what lately is called weaponized empathy (classically: scrupulosity).  Both are perversions of Christian doctrine (aka experience) with the end in view of disabling Christian civilization by eliminating citizens’ ability to tell truth from fiction and thereby defend themselves.  Moslems, Salafist and Shiite, have taken advantage of the KGB’s success removing from so many Europeans and Americans their ability to discern what is in their interest.  Socialists have gone insane from self-induced terror upon learning that more than a few Europeans and Americans retain the ability to think clearly enough to defend themselves.  The answer, as always, is hearty laughter.

I commented: I might be less downright about alliance between Russia and China.  I see cooperation on specifics there but not fundamental common interest or presence in being. Russia has considerable common interest and presence in being with both India and USA.  And they with Russia.  So I would factor, as a squeeze, an alliance among those three leaving China no chair to sit in.  Frankly, that alliance — USA, India, Russia — is the grand throttle on China’s hegemonic aspirations.  There is not another one entirely able to do the job.

Update 12: Good point, good article.  Emphasizing: vector of USA development is westward, not eastward, away from Old World snits (to include MENA), not towards them.

Geo-strategically, water is wet land.  The same strategic rules that apply to land warfare apply to sea warfare.  The sea is wet land.  The air is thin land.

One implication of that reality is that INDOPACOM is an Army show primarily, not a Navy one.  Current  deployments of thought and dispositions of assets do not reflect that fact.

Navy is a transport and fires support asset.  Marines are an assault asset.  Air and Cyber — and Space — are forward fires support assets.  Army is the asset tasked and equipped (when well) for land-control primarily and assault when needed.

The US foreign policy establishment anchors in the premise that USA strategic interests lie to the east, across the Atlantic.  They do not.  They lie to the west, across the Pacific.  That abyssal error is the source of confusion and mayhem in the assembly and execution of statecraft by the USA’s bi-partisan leadership kakistocracy, essentially mutineers against USA identity and strategic interests.  Until now.  Now, someone is shaking their foundations, thankfully.
