Actually, Vikings did found modern Russia (see paintings by Nicholas Roerich and Wassily Kandinsky). They also ruled the western islands of Scotland until not so very long ago. From whence comes Trumps’ beloved mother. So the modern Russian headline is likely factually true. And his father was of German descent, and modern Russia descends strongly from German blood.
One reason I have proposed alliance between The Three Brothers, Russia, USA and India, is this: they are the only nations strategically capable whose citizens are proud to be both multi-racial and multi-religious. Israel, also, is a multi-racial, multi-religious nation, but not of size such as the Three Brothers. A rarity in the world, nonetheless, and a virtue and point of pride for Israelis.
It happens that the multi-racial, multi-religious national identity is that of humanity as a whole looking ahead and yearning. India, USA and Russia de facto lead that procession and Israel is right there, already, in support of it.
Of all the reasons given for Donald and Melania Trump winning this election, one appears to be overlooked, perhaps because it was unconsciously propulsive: Americans do not want a war with Russia. The very prospect of that — a Democratic-Republican Uniparty obsessive depravity, among so many others, and trumpeted by them right into election day — convinced Americans to run with a personality who said, truly, that our nation can get along with Russia.
I think it is more than get along. I think it is strategic alliance, with India, to organize a fresh inter-national order, beyond Bretton Woods (which Nixon killed but persists as if a valid referent), beyond NATO, beyond Communism, at last!
She appears not to know the speech she read. But knows its applause lines. And knows the lefty female voice, mouth and eye mannerisms which say, “Don’t worry, I’m with you … like me! … please … ? … ! … ? …. ”
She does not look or sound trustworthy. Her delivery does not inspire a feeling that she would be loyal to me. Boeing is a deep UniParty company. I am glad she opens the way for jobs in her state, but, with UniParty German automakers also in, one wonders whether she cleared the way for small businesses as well as UniParty ones.
Then, too, it is the South, where economic and social class and rank do matter, still, and the bracing winds of the West — Ride the horse that brung ya. — do not reach. Did she create conditions — mental, economic, spiritual — which fostered that individual’s murdering people inside a church? The comments here bespeak profound, almost unanimous hostility to her. There must be good reason for that, or at least, reason estimably thought enough to be good.
The insincerity and fawning cutesiness of her delivery struck me. And the venue: FedSoc is a bloated money-swamp for UniParty sycophants. Maybe she was auditioning for a job at FedSoc with the pitch that she knows how to please the President-Elect, so they need her to stay relevant.
She is Hindu. I did not know that until now. I have long said Christians and Hindus are natural allies, on several grounds, not least of which is they are the principal enemies of the Salafist Jihad, in the Jihad’s estimate — they say so repeatedly.
At the first big Bombay bombing a decade or so ago I mentioned to a correspondent in the North East that it demonstrated India’s centrality in the Salafist war on the world. The correspondent sneered and said India is on the periphery of world affairs. I do not think so. This about Tulsi I take as a subtle indicator of Christian-Hindu (USA-Russia-India) centrality to the fight for freedom from Salafist slavery.
The picture is of morning PT in HI. Most politicians are promoted as such by their sponsors and handlers because they are unintelligent and can read a script and have ambition. Trump is not one of those. Nor is he a politician. He is a public servant of the kind for whom the Founders prayed. A second Washington, perhaps.
Her religion is a plus for Tulsi in this context. Her endorsement of Sanders testifies to her intelligence. I would not get leg tingles over an appointment for her at this point, especially at DOD if Mattis is going there. This sounds to me more like a fact-finding tour, as it used to be called, on The Donald’s part and also Tulsi’s, with a view to new creations. In any case, she would have to clear Ivanka.
And if she is brought in, it would not be to appease Democratic or Sanders partisans. It would not be to cross the aisle, as RINOs, masters of unintelligence, are besotted with doing. It would be to build a fresh political structure to replace the D-R Uniparty … and let that Uniparty figure out what to do with itself.
Appears she was enlisted, then schooled for a commission and branched MP, but in the NG, not USAR or RA. Rising to MAJ. NG got used a lot by GWB. Abortion supporter. Scoop Jackson comparison is not unfair. Which suggests Neo-Cons may be ecstatic over the creases in her wetsuit. Still, Mother Theresa, I suspect, would not be amused. Abortion/sterilization is anathema in Hinduism, as well as in Christianity, probably the central reason for the fall of the House of Nehru/Gandhi, and depopulation of the churches.

Update 2: Principal reason, now, that USA must exit NATO: Eurabia, led by what are now mistakenly called Germany and France.
Follow-on to NATO will be some structure with Russia and the Intermarium to keep Eurabia from heading east. Essentially, swing USA’s European force vector 180 degrees, from east to west.
That will be part of a larger structure, to include India, Mongolia and some Southeast Asian nations, to triangulate or quadrangulate China.

May be a good chance of that happening. Germany has been on security welfare provided by USA for how long now? And she presumes to hector her benefactor. Head of NATO did as well last week.
No, NATO is obsolete. It is not 1947, nor yet 1991. von der Leyen is proving the point. I say, “You go, girl!”

I expected that point to be raised. It should be. Here is my take on it, FWIW: Assad is no friend of the USA and has caused death to USA Soldiers. He is a louse. However, that was not Tulsi’s point in visiting him, as she has explained several times.
Her point was that USA — aka Obama/Brennan/McCain — were trying to oust Assad by benefiting AQ/ISIS with arms and training to do the deed.
They had no strategic reason beyond personal pique and ancient and commanding CIA crotchets devoid of allegiance to USA as a sovereign nation.
In fact, arming/training AQ/ISIS undercut their support for the blood-thirsty ayatollahs of Iran who feed Assad. It was, as with all things Obama, FUBAR. And they risked war with Russia who also supported Assad.
That was Tulsi’s point. She was no fool for making it. On some other matters, I deplore Tulsi’s postures, but I would never ascribe to her the sobriquet of fool. That is reserved for people who ignore their duties to self-correct and to ruminate carefully and honestly upon advice they are offered from whatever source.

Point taken. However, in this matter of which she spoke and traveled — Obama, Brennan, McCain, or as she tactfully put it USA, supplying and training AQ/ISIS to take down Assad — she spoke the truth and rightfully condemned those personalities’ actions in that regard. Some other postures of hers I abominate. But when she is spot on, I feel credit is due her. She behaves foolishly in some regards, but she is no fool, meaning behaving foolishly plenarily.
