I have written about Dr. Jasser before and corresponded briefly with him seemingly quite a few years ago. He is a high-profile personality: a medical doctor, former U.S. Naval Officer (LTCDR) and media figure. He helped found American Islamic Forum for Democracy as, I think, a counterweight to Moslem Brotherhood fronts such as CAIR. Here are writings of his at Gatestone Institute.
This one, Moslem Reform Movement, of his and others’, at Gatestone, corralled my attention. It is also here and here. In a video interview with The Daily Signal, an online publication of The Hermitage Foundation, Dr. Jasser addresses the same constellation of questions and problems: can Moslems live peacefully and gratefully under the US Constitution? Will they? Can Moslems be content as Americans establishing for themselves a representative republican form of government? Will they?
Dr. Jasser says, “Yes.” and he says that emphatically. He also knows he has a long, steep hill to climb to prove he’s legit or a fraud, either one. He and his fellow signers of the Moslem Reform Movement are up against a nation of Americans from Missouri, the Show Me State.
As everyone know, Moslems in the USA just put a target on their bodies, every last one of them. And their Globalist fellow criminal cartel members. I am sure Dr. Jasser knows that, too, and that, therefore, his and his compatriots’ effort to enlist Moslems and non-Moslems in support of their Moslem Reform Movement is a matter of existential urgency. Indeed it is.
Long have I suspected Dr. Jasser and his associates, that they are crypto-hegemons, believing Islam the only valid religion. This statement, Moslem Reform Movement, goes far to disabuse me of that suspicion. Its form — affirmation and condemnation — reminds me of the great Christian conciliar statements upholding universality over partisanship using the affirmation/condemnation (anathematizing in the Greek) format. I have been waiting for someone Moslem to do this and must confess this statement may be by way of being what I have been waiting to hear/see. We shall see. By their fruits ….
I listened through Dr. Jasser’s video interview with The Daily Signal. When I corresponded with him years ago, he would not answer my question: “Is Islam the only valid religion?”
He has a good gig going. I do not sense he is evil. But I do sense he is a self-promoter and trying to argue for a pipe-dream: Moslems at peace with America, at least in any critical mass of them.
At the end of the video interview he says Americans have to get involved in the internal fight going among Moslems. I say BS to that. It is your house, not mine, so do not ask me to help you clean it up.
Also, he calls CAIR and like groups legacy Moslem Brotherhood groups. BS again, they are active MB global hegemonic operations. Nothing legacy about them. Downplaying MB as he does makes me suspect he is one of their cleverest operatives.
I think the San Berdoo attack is evidence that the MB has gone kinetic. For decades they have been doing counter-espionage/counter-intel (as Jasser really does in that video interview), infrastructure build-out and lawfare. The tea leaves I read in San Berdoo point to MB, which means they have gone kinetic, which is new. It means, among other things, a vast wall of force has been added to leftie-globalist hegemonic chaos.
A coup d’état is underway by the Globalist-Caliphist cartel against American and European political sovereignty and religious freedom. I think Dr. Jasser knows that and is either trying to veil it or prevent it. I am not sure which (original here). The Moslem Reform Movement does not convince me Dr. Jasser and his associates are trying to stand athwart the Globalist-Caliphist cartel’s coup d’état against Christian civilization and nations nourished by The Church’s milk, although for me it goes a very long way to doing that.
Since the undeniably visible start of these troubles from Moslems — 11SEP01; the real start in the modern era, however, was Woodrow Wilson’s acquiescence to exchange of Hashemites for Sauds in Arabia Deserta — I have maintained, virtually against all evidence, that there is an Islam that is not politically hegemonic and that does not insist on political and religious legitimacy for itself alone. Skepticism regarding that assertion has at best little to restrain it. Yet, it is the truth.
I do so earnestly wish Dr. Jasser represents refutation of that skepticism and validation of the assertion that there is an Islam that is the opposite of pure evil. It is nearly impossible, as we know, to prove a negative proposition. His articulation of the likes of CAIR and James Yee as co-religionists, if very bad ones, causes me to doubt Dr. Jassser really does represent that all-but-invisible religion of peace we hear mentioned. I, a Christian, do not regard Jeremiah Wright, Malcolm Boyd, Katharine Jeffers Schori or Rowan Williams as Christians, because they are not. They are charlatans. St. Jerome observed that a vestment does not make a bishop. Nor does a madrassa make an imam.
We will see where this goes. If they are sincere, I wish Dr. Jasser and his associates well. At this point, I am willing to consider but am not certain that they are.
The only force ever successfully to have stood against Islamic imperialistic hegemony is The Christian Church, Latin and Greek. She is the only force ever that can and will.

The Bush Neo-Cons refused to put USA on war footing on 12SEP01. They essayed to make less than 1% of the country carry 100% of the burden of battle. Their successors deny there is a battle or ever has been, except to throw off the grotesque yoke of Amero-Euro colonialism.
With all that, the ME/Islam is small potatoes as battles go. The big potato is in the South and East China Seas. China has punched through the USA western defensive littoral. Salafist and Iranian Jihadis/Caliphists are flies. They exist because no one, so far, has fumigated for them. The arch-hegemon, the capital carnivore, is in Asia.
Staff Sergeant Weissman died a Solder’s death, in battle with a mortal, vicious enemy. That is honorable. His widow and child have comfort in that. His honor protects them, as a man, husband and father should protect his family. May the men of Israel earn as much honor, at least, by protecting their families and country, decisively, in a manner which will leave no doubt in Jihadi/Caliphist minds regarding the impossibility of their success and the non-alternative to their being happy with Israelis and Israel and every other person and thing they currently hate and despise.
And may American men likewise come to their senses and fumigate for Salafist and Iranian Jihadis/Caliphists wherever they are, however they hide, so that mankind’s major threat, China, can be faced and disabused of her posture for aggressive, hegemonic racism.
And John, they are not terrorists. They are Salafist Jihadis. The nomenclature has to be accurate before the battle can be successfully joined. So far, that has not occurred among the lib-con cartel. And that is why this war, a piddling affair relatively speaking, has not been won. Calling them terrorists nebulizes them, conjures confusion. They love it. Here’s what they are.
