The strategic condition of Western Europe has been recast pretty much from top to bottom. Their thinking and ours, I think, regarding the new casting lags reality by an order of magnitude or more. This may sound balmy, stupid, deranged or something.
For one, NATO is obsolete because Western Europe, anti-Jew for centuries and anti-Christian for decades, has reached for the ultimate destroyer of Jews and Christians: Moslems. These have been imported to complete the extirpations to which West German/Frankish tribes (France and Germany) have so long been dedicated. Because they could not do it themselves! Such is their hatred of Jews and Christians.
This goal of the West German/Frankish tribes remains fixed, and twice in one century they tried to accomplish it, but without success. So they have summoned Moslems to reinforce and take them over to eradicate Jews and Christians once and for all, to fulfill their ancient goal. That is some serious dedication!
Russia faces Western Europe, the Frankish tribes, promoting if not converted to Islam and building a native Frankish Islamic army, rooted in Germanic invention and productivity, that faces, as before, east. An old strategic problem for Russia, but now that growling face to the west is Moslem, so it screams as well as growls. And is more aggressive. And more fanatical. And Russia is Christian, which infuriates the now-Moslem Franks the more.
So Russia reaches first for her old defensive concept in the westerly direction, where she is exposed, as along most of her borders, to land attack: use the geography of her near abroad as a buffer to protect her vital areas east of the Bug and the Vistula. That geography, of course, is a set of nation states called Intermarium since Józef Piłsudski coined the concept and word after World War I. It is the area/nations between the Black and Baltic Seas.
What has changed in this is the cast of Europe. It is Moslem, which gives it an extra dollop of nasty, as if it did not have enough of that on its own.
In this strategic condition, NATO Article 5 commits the USA to facilitating and protecting a Frankish Moslem attack eastward into Poland, the rest of the Intermarium and Russia. I think Americans do not want to do that. Nor should they. Americans do not hate Jews or Christians and are not obliged to help Franks, Moslem or not, discharge their sentiments in that regard.
I think Americans would be happy — and increase their sovereignty, solvency and supremacy — to strengthen the states of the Intermarium and arrange bilateral diplomatic, financial and war-fighting agreements or alliances with Russia with an end in view of discouraging the now-Moslem Frankish tribes from marching east, again.
