Colonel (Retired) Jacques Baud, Professional Perspectives

The foregoing is the root of USA Foreign Policy, and as such, a correlate of the Primakov Doctrine, the root of Russian Foreign Policy.

If you reach an operational objective, that opens the door to a strategic objective.
If you reach a strategic objective, that opens the door to a political objective.
Clausewitz means this by, War is a continuation of politics by other means.

There is a continuum between military affairs-actions and politics.
Russian military doctrine-design centers on operational art.
US-NATO military doctrine-design centers on tactics.

Two hours long and well-worth the time to observe. Later in the interview, Colonel Baud discusses Russian vice US-NATO military doctrines, many aspects thereof, a most enlightening treatment and exposition. However, all two hours are of the highest operational and strategic import and therefore value.

The 2019 RAND strategic-conceptual report to which Colonel Baud refers early in the interview:

Dating from 24 April 2019, since 2021 this report is the cornerstone of US policy towards Russia through the Ukraine and other proxies. Essentially, wear her down economically and militarily to make her an easy walkover politically. 2019 was a POTUS Trump year. He was less than enthusiastic about picking a fight with Russia. RAND told him, essentially, Ya gotta do it. They meant, OR ELSE!. Since 2019, everything minions of the US foreign policy establishment think, see, talk about, and do regarding Russia proceeds as this report assessed proposed demands. It is their existential ur-text.

Late in 2019, Alexander Vindman, a Ukranian Jew of Soviet Russian birth who grew up in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, NYC and came to wear the uniform of a U.S. Army LTC, was helped by Zionist lawfare practitioners to provide pretexts for Democrats Congressional Zionists to impeach POTUS Trump. In the USofA, Zionists are unaccustomed to obstruction.

This RAND report / policy directive, Vindman’s activities, and POTUS Trump’s unwillingness to weaken Russia as a prelude to marauding her wealth are, therefore, related. Vindman and his curators were impatient to get on with parting out Russia. The thought of it tickles their zeal for personal enrichment, feelings of revenge, and hope to cause harm.

All the faulty data regarding Russia and The USofA, false assumptions and assessments made from that data, and irrational policy imperatives RAND Experts conjure therefrom live in this RAND report.

The report reveals motives and opportunities to produce evidence of humanitarian, military, and foreign policy horrors — e.g., in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Ukraine, Gaza — subsequently and eagerly committed by minions of the US foreign policy establishment because they entertain the Zionist pitch.

Here is the RAND brief of the same report, also dated April 2019:

Principle I

The United States have no authority in the domestic affairs of other nations and expect other nations to reciprocate by not feigning authority in our domestic affairs. The United States have interest in the lines of communication running between The United States and all other nations. We expect ourselves and other nations to bear fairly the burden of keeping those lines open, safe, reliable, fair, and clean for use by all nations.

Principle II

The United States welcome comprehensive strategic partnership for the new era with our brother nations India and Russia, for correlation, coordination, and promulgation, from their perspectives, of the ground of statecraft set forth in Principle I and urge Japan and Egypt to join us for that endeavor and commitment.

Principle III

An order to deploy which lacks or frustrates intent to compel an enemy to sign a declaration of unconditional surrender is an unlawful order by the Rules of Just War, the Conventions of War, Common Sense, and the Spirit of America. An order to deploy conveys this intent to the Commanding Officer: win this war / battle in a timely manner at the lowest possible cost to yourself and your enemy or do not come back alive.
