Almighty God,

Attend our meeting here, our thoughts, our yearnings, our Cadets, our efforts to learn and do our duties for you.

We live in terrifying times. You know that. It has to be your will that we do. We want to hold on to that which is good.

Protect our beloved country, the United States of America, from envy and from treasons, stratagems and spoils.

Protect West Point and our United States Corps of Cadets from liars, cheats and thieves.

Protect our United States Army from malice and from fear, uncertainty and doubt.

Whatever happens to and by us, let us always be devoted to you. Let us be so bereft of ego, so empty of desire that your Voice sings beauty and strength through our eyes, our hearts and our limbs.

Bless the food and camaraderie we are here to enjoy, that our lives may reveal the inexhaustible sweetness of your love.
