A series of Anti-American concepts and movements has jumped on the country just as Moslems, Indians, Chinese, and Afro-Caribs have slid or been invited into positions of responsibility and power in America. This is not coincidence. These are people who have no or little cultural background in American thinking and practice and often have been raised to be inimical and obliterative towards the same. Latin Americans coming here, legally or illegally, tend to appreciate American thinking and practice more than do the aforementioned, as seen in recent voting patterns.
These Moslems, etc., are loud and pushy, nasty and threatening even, so clergy, politicians, professors, industrialists, and bureaucrats, spineless, give them platform and sway they do not deserve and would not otherwise be accorded.
The spinelessness of nominal Americans in leader positions permits this rodeo. The problem is spiritual, indicating a recrudescence of self-confidence of Americans as Americans. We are a something, a someone, who is good and clean and full of love. Americans qua Americans are quick to offense against aggression when it comes at us. Moslems, Indians, Chinese, and Afro-Caribs have come at us with aggression in their hearts and extirpation in their hands. The American answer to them is spiritual first and material swiftly second.
