Ladies and Gentlemen: Tomorrow at precisely 1300 Hours, not a second before, not a second after, complete access to all files regarding all of your organization’s operations since 2007, or your resignation, will be on my desk in the Oval Office.

In the latter case, if your resignation, in lieu of said access, arrives on my desk, or, if a response other than complete access or your resignation arrives on my desk, you will face, promptly, federal — and possibly state — criminal investigations for insubordination, theft, fraud, embezzlement, extortion, false arrest, murder, terrorism, suborning sedition and/or treason, and such other particulars as evidence demonstrates your behavior deserves; your pay, benefits, and retirement will be suspended meanwhile and possibly forfeit; and your family, neighbors, and associates will be put under round-the-clock surveillance on suspicion of aiding or abetting a possible felon.

In addition, even if you produce complete access to your organization’s operations histories, as hereby ordered, your federal employment ends forever as of 1300 Hours tomorrow. However, if you produce said access, without catch, you may keep retirement benefits to which you are entitled.

Why not? I think you miss the point of the process I laid out. Make it public. The effect on the electorate would be electrifying in a salutary way. Termination and seizing things is not the answer. Pedestrian, pedantic, half-measures. Operations access is the answer, along with pan-optic investigation / prosecution for denial of it. Places to hide must be denied the perps. Everyone wants sunlight, even, ironically, the perps. They too are tired of their own criminal behavior. It is hard work. I laid out a way to do that, to do sunlight and also flush the swamp. Draining a swamp is ineffective for ridding a swap of miasmic malevolence. Flushing a swamp is effective to that purpose.
