Every moment is a miracle. Every thing is a miracle.  A seed inside an orange is a miracle.  An orange is a miracle.

A miracle is a sign-event, received in ecstasy, which reveals but does not remove the depth (mysterium tremendum) and the mystery (mysterium fascinosum), the power and the fascination, of being.

The depth and mystery of being cannot be removed by any method of cognition. Man cannot grasp the ultimate.  But the ultimate can and does grasp man, to reveal itself to man, through miracles.  Ordinary, every-day miracles.
