So Is The Result.
The Party are swindlers. They lie to Americans and other nations because they want sex, money, and drugs from everyone else and are unwilling to give anyone else anything of value in return. They want dominion and to rule and are unwilling to govern. Everything For The Party, Nothing Against The Party, Nothing Outside The Party. Swindlers give you nothing while they try to take everything.
Reynolds today, twice, ridicules members of The Party with a pet phrase of his: a bunch of lying, partisan hacks. I commented:
- Give ’em a break, Glenn. Swindlers have to lie to stay in business.
- *Swindlers* might be sharper than *liars*. Both are accurate, of course, but *swindler* points to the whole truth whereas *liar* points to part of it. A swindler lies because he, or she, wants to take something from you without having to give you something in return. Americans are known to tolerate swindlers until they do not. The classic remedies called *tar and feathers* and *run out of town on a rail* reference Americans’ ultimate treatment of swindlers.
We do not get all that we ask for. What is the reason? Has God no compassion? The child is sick but it asks for many varieties of sweets which the mother refuses to give. Does it mean that she hates the child? Or is she hard-hearted? Has she lost her affection? The refusal is itself a sign of compassion. For, each person is an invalid, suffering from recurrent birth and death. Granting whatever is asked can only lengthen suffering. Hence arises withholding and the denial. And, you too do not ask for the indispensable! You do not pray for the peace that knows no break. If you do, the boon will be granted! God will respond when the call arises from the heart. I know you knock at the door. But, at which door? Keeping the door of your own heart closed, how can your clamour succeed in getting the other door opened? Knock at the door of your own heart. God, the Resident, will come into view.
