RAMANAM
In the Name of The Father, and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit, Amen.

Countrymen,

ORBIS NON SUFFICIT
SOLUS DEUS SUFFICIT

The greatest weapon in the arsenal of democracy is the desire for liberty written into the human heart by our Creator. So long as we remain true to our ideals, we will defeat the extremists in Iraq and Afghanistan. We will help those countries’ peoples stand up functioning democracies in the heart of the broader Middle East. And when that hard work is done and the critics of today recede from memory, the cause of freedom will be stronger, a vital region will be brighter, and the American people will be safer.”

Many fine sentiments and phrases, but the first sentence of this final paragraph expresses the nub of the issue: whether the ontological or the positivist view of finitude and life is the fuller, the more inclusive.

The ontological view of finitude and life takes it for rooted in the infinite, in the ground of being and thus in the power and structure of reason (Logos) and being-itself (or symbolically, God). This is expressed a bit ordinarily but unmistakably in the closing phrase of the first sentence: “written into the human heart by our Creator.” Finitude, from itself, continuously transcends itself and its ambiguity, drives toward an intrinsic goal, travels forwards and upwards, “goes home to Momma” in fulfillment of its multi-dimensional potentiality.

The positivist view of finitude and life takes it for rooted in nothing, without aim or purpose (Greek telos), being nothing meaningful intrinsically, merely concatenations of inorganic elements and processes propelled about space and time by conflicting compulsions to/from neighboring elements and processes. This is expressed in the classical Deism of Locke and Jefferson, the radical relativism of Popper/Soros, the ideological puritanism of modern “science” and the moral/intellectual reductionism of the doctrines of multiculturalism and clash of civilizations.

The difference between these views is highlighted with some literary panache early in the President’s speech: “The struggle has been called a clash of civilizations. In truth, it’s a struggle for civilization.” Those sentences intone like a Noonan, albeit who announces herself dyspeptic regarding GWB’s domestic policies.

The ontological view can and should include the positivist and all other views that point to reality not delusion. It does not lose its integrity by including any view that is reasonable and illuminating, that goes to a useful point. Delusion itself is enlightening when subjected to comprehensive scrutiny.

The positivist view cannot include the ontological or any other view without losing its integrity. Positivism is a puritanical ideology passing for a philosophy, as Mr. Summers found of the Harvard Faculty and Mr. Soros demonstrates in multiple machinations.

Like their fascist and communist forebears and frequently deliberate models (both Western perversities, ironically), demonic muslims are puritanical positivists. This is the reason ecclesial/academic/literary/financial positivists from strands of American and European theology and philosophy aide and abet them.

The conflict is over the supremacy or fullness in the sense of comprehensiveness of inclusion or exclusion, expansion or contraction, breath or death, or, in the language of American political philosophy, democracy or totalitarianism.

As the President says in this speech, democracy has supremacy by virtue of its rootedness in being itself, the life of God and for that reason is competent to enforce and does and will enforce itself. Of that I have no doubt. I can state, in fact, that any doubter of that fact will be destroyed.

Thinking about the Saudi aspect of the conflict has caused me to anticipate that this planet is going to lose half or more of its human population and far more than that of its mineral, plant and animal populations on the way to enforcing the supremacy of democracy over demonic muslims.

Chinese hegemonistic totalitarianism will be gutted during the enforcement of democracy over demonic muslims. Chinese are opportunists and arguably the world’s original positivists.

It will take the entire 21st Century to get the job done.

Or, the job can get done with a few luminous strokes that no merely human agency can engender or see where to apply.

With respect to bearding the lions in their dens — the demonic clerics in Saudi Arabia and Iran — their supply lines are their money lines and I think the Hashemite King Abdullah and the Baha’i Universal House of Justice should be consulted, though not necessarily fully or exclusively followed, on best means to close off those line.

If the Saud family will not go along with closing the money lines of their lords and clients the Wahhabist/Salafist clerics, they must be driven out of power.

The more determination to close those lines is apparent, the more Sauds will go along with closing them. Arabs respect those who make decisive blows and Sauds are voluptuaries.

Close the demonic clerics’ money lines, shriveling them up, and Moslem Brotherhood, Hamas, Al Qaeda, Revolutionary Guards, etc. will stand out as the hegemonistic, extortionist assassin cults and multi-use criminal gangs they are. Deprived of their aura of religious sanctity or untouchability, they are not difficult targets to find or to destroy.

So when CAIR comes to one’s front door (as they are doing now to private citizens) and says they find this bumper stick or that flag or memorial or this or that activity or mode of dress, whatever, offensive to Islam and recommend discussion, learning and removal of the offending item or behavior, the answer is, “Piss up a rope, where does your money come from and what are you doing with it? I do not want to hear about islam or your rights or justice or your sorrow and humiliation or crusaders or sharia or anything remotely connected to any of that rubbish, which is what it is. Give me a complete accounting of your finances and then, perhaps, we will talk … my choice. Meanwhile, get off my porch and out of my neighborhood and away from my city, county, state and nation, and while you are at it, shut up and behave yourself and go to hell and stay there!”
