Damn The IC / FPE And Re-Monasticize

The One Is Indivisible
The Truth Is The Whole

The Old Man Receives Darshan Of Our Lord

The conceptual error — and implied constitutional error — inside this travesty of politics, law, and ethics is that the Intelligence Community/Foreign Policy Establishment (IC / FPE) is a fourth branch of the USG, independent of and supreme against the other three branches as well as the electorate.

In other words, the effective USG is an untouchable oligarchy, the IC / FPE.  This conceptual/constitutional error is widely shared and, indeed, worshiped.  And not only by its benefactors.

It is a blessing of Christian eye-sight that it marks the most legitimate authority as that most decentralized — namely, the Resident of each creature’s heart — and the strongest happiness as that most hospitable — namely, the sovereign nation state guarded by faithful representatives of her free-born citizens.

Normal people, such as Americans, can solve problems that arise.  None, save God Himself, is more powerful than free-born men enjoying distributed responsibility, which is our natural estate.

Every day that goes by now emboldens children to pressure their parents to free them from those educational stupidity institutions called public schools.   All for the better.  Children, having experienced an alternative — homeschooling and its nearly limitless adjuncts — will demand freedom to learn on their own from their own interests.  This is how the nation solves her skills deficit in all fields of endeavor: re-monasticize.

GA MacArthur was homeschooled by his mother, then tutored, then became the greatest of America’s Great Captains.

Visions Are Infectious Diseases

Normal people think and discriminate.
Abnormal personalities have visions.

Normal people welcome reality.
Abnormal personalities welcome dreams.

No one believes in God but every one has to deal with Him.
So many are angry at God over the omnipresence of VUCA.

The Trump Presidency has exposed the unimaginable evil

This is an auspicious Trumpian gift in blackest disguise.

Organized crime in the name of national security is not a winner.

Hooray!  More winning.

Education is for flowering the unique inner necessities of young people, men and women, not for supplying widgets for an economy or proles for a democracy.  These people speak of schools as if they are factories.  Well, they are acting just so, and look at all the happiness and utility they produce.

Better to de-industrialize education and piety, and best to end the financial scams propping up professors, administrators, and college sports.  Homeschool instead, bring learning to the student, not the student to learning.  The student, not the school, not the economy, not democracy, is the priority.  Teach students to self-fulfill and they will take care of everything else that is truly needful, to include economy and governance.  No normal person wants democracy any way, and our Constitution expressly forbids it, because democracy is mob-rule.

Ammo Grrrll: There is a popular saying in Israel, zeh mah yesh, which means This is what IS.  It’s not ideal; it’s not what we would have preferred, it is what we have to work with; it is WHAT IS.  Sober, mature, adults deal with that reality, not pie-in-the-sky fantasy.

The Israeli saying, by the way, ends with vim ze, nenatseach.  And with this, we will win.

Update 1:

David R. Graham
With respect, Sarah, you are giving way to a spate of rising fear and anger.  Patience is protection enough, and God don’t make mistakes, we remind ourselves, to stay sane and drive away the bats of doubt.

Dr. Who to David R. Graham
At this point I prefer a lynch mob.

David R. Graham to Dr. Who
Patience and a lynch mob are not mutually exclusive activities.

Dr. Who to David R. Graham
So you’re saying pull the rope up slowly instead of dropping them through the floor.

I like that.

David R. Graham to Dr. Who
I’m saying open the trap when The Almighty wants you to open the trap.

Dr. Who to David R. Graham
That would be now.

David R. Graham to Dr. Who
When do you start?

John C. Wilson to Dr. Who
Keep Loretta out of this!

Rodney G. Graves to David R. Graham
Anyone who is not filled with righteous rage over the Fourth Amendment abuses of the malAdministration of the SCOAMF and his enablers in the Intelligence Community and the Justice Department has not been paying attention.

They were routinely using the TSP tools that were rolled into FISA to surveill their political foes, both foreign and domestic.  They did so by making unpredicated and unsupported apllicattions to the FIS Court, and did so under penalty of perjury.  As law enforcement officers and officers of the Court this was intolerable malfeasance.

I see two viable remedies.

1. Prosecute everyone involved in the preparation and submission of these warrant applications (and those who authorized the unwarranted searches of the FISA databases) to the fullest extent of both criminal and civil law.

2. Repeal the Pendleton Act and make all civil service positions “at the Pleasure of the President” with no requirement to show cause for termination while also repealing FISA and closing the FIS Court.

David R. Graham to Rodney G. Graves
You talk of things you cannot do. This behavior has at least two descriptors: (1) howling at the moon, and (2) impotence.

Lose the anger and the hate and see how the world looks then to you, and it at you.

Rodney G. Graves to David R. Graham
Angry gets shit done.

David R. Graham to Rodney G. Graves
Angry get shit done.

rmhartman to David R. Graham
patience with the enemy is how we reached this place.
sometimes you have to overturn tables and drive them out with whips.

David R. Graham to rmhartman
When you can do that, then the time has come.  When you cannot do that, the time has not come.  In both cases, the proper posture is patience.  Our Lord did not overturn tables until the time had come (in the fulness of time is one translation) to do that.

The underlying discussion here is the difference between time as chronos and time as kairos.  Chronos is clock time, sun time, moon time.  Kairos is God’s time, when the moment is right, when the Spirit is moving to a specific purpose inside chronos.  Kairos occurs in chronos but chronos never commands kairos.

You are thinking your chronos is God’s kairos.  This is a grave epistemological error reclining in the absurd assumption that God’s time is ego’s time.  It is not, it never has been, and it never will be.

Update 2:

David R. Graham
William Shakespeare was Catholic.  Speaker Pelosi is nominally Catholic.

Christine Golden to David R. Graham
Speaker Pelosi has been barred from receiving Holy Communion since 2003, which means (if my catechism lessons are still valid), that she has been excommunicated.

David R. Graham to Christine Golden
It is more specific than that.  Excommunication is an official episcopal declaration, or, a private de facto event by virtue of one’s supporting a grave sin such as abortion or sodomy.  A priest can deny communion to Pelosi or Biden, and some have, I understand, on the basis of their support for grave sin, but that is not an excommunication per se, although Pelosi’s and Biden’s support for the gave sins of abortion and sodomy is a de facto self-excommunication by them.

Excommunication per se, as compared to de facto, is a formal statement, in public, drawn up and promulgated by episcopal authority.  To my knowledge, that recompense has never been awarded to Pelosi or Biden, notwithstanding their eminent deservedness of the same.

The real scandal, the real culprits, in the case of Cafeteria Catholics such as Pelosi and Biden, lodges in the bishops’ mansions and abbots’ rectories, who refuse to excommunicate proudly grave sinners.  Pelosi and Biden are small potatoes.  The culprits are the bishops and abbots.

Christine Golden to David R. Graham
Thanks for the explanation!  I left the Catholic Church back in the 1970s when I discovered that Pope Pius did not use the power of the Holy See to protect and save the Jews during the Holocaust.  When faced with the greatest moral issue of the 20th century, the papacy proved that it was indeed fallible.

That it continues to accept pro-abortionists who defy church dogma and who are directly responsible for the murder of millions of innocents only confirms my decision.  Especially since as you said, it is based on the deadly sin of avarice.

David R. Graham to Christine Golden
Abortion, I wrote, not avarice, though I think you meant abortion.  And at root, I could have written avarice, or better, envy, because that most assuredly is right there as a root factor in the support/practice/tolerance of both abortion and sodomy.

It is tragic what we have had to do in light of clergy’s — and not just Catholic clergy’s — disloyalty to the Faith and thus to reality.  Avarice/envy is a cause.  But knowing that mitigates not a bit the pain of having to refuse ministrations of the institutional mother’s milk, so to speak, and to find the truth, and with it comfort, in the very generality (ecumenicity) of life.

I think the consoling presence is in the reality (Faith) that God is all in all and, thankfully, cannot be escaped.  Thus the mother’s milk is always present because the Mother is and that well-able to minister her milk (truth, cheerfulness, honesty, beauty) of her own accord, so to speak.

Chuck Kilmer to David R. Graham
Secular Catholic with emphasis on secular

David R. Graham to Chuck Kilmer
Yes, I intended that conditioner by using the word nominally.

Mark, shall the Twain meet? to David R. Graham
David, she’s barely a nominal American.

David R. Graham to Mark, shall the Twain meet?
You are generous.  Probably I should be too.  I confess to having difficulty seeing her as normal or American much less as both together.  She does have chests, I give her that.

But if your point is that I used the word nominal when such is giving her undeserved tolerance — as I think is your point — then I must plead guilty, confessing to an unwarranted literary punch-pulling with respect to The Speaker’s estate of grace, normal, American, or otherwise.

I take your point.

Mark, shall the Twain meet? to David R. Graham
To be sure, she looks as though she was graced with cleavage.  However, I’m not sure that I’d go so far as to suggest that cleaving in the Biblical sense would be advisable.  Perhaps 50 some years ago.  But if her current worldview is any indication of her youthful inclinations, I’d have been as equally disinclined then.  Or prone, so to speak.

David R. Graham to Mark, shall the Twain meet?
Now, that is good.  THAT is good!  😀

Christine Golden to Mark, shall the Twain meet?
Pelosi is 80 years old.  Take off her bra and that cleavage drops down to her knees.

Mark, shall the Twain meet? to Christine Golden
That’s what I’m sayin’ Christine.  I’m trying to not be as descriptive.  What you’re describing is not a good look!  Stop painting my world with your details!  😎

We must transform the divine power latent in you into skill, for undertaking any useful activity.  When knowledge is converted into skill, you acquire balance in life.  In such a state of equanimity, you will develop insight.  Ennobled with such an insight and divine power, you should undertake a noble activity.  Only then it will be most fruitful and beneficial to everyone.  Always undertake noble activities with a pure mind.  Unity brings purity, and purity in turn leads to Divinity.  You should never forget the inseparable relationship between unity, purity, and Divinity, and always strive to achieve that.  You must all come together and work together in the spirit of sacrifice.  Spirituality is not a business activity.  Spirituality is divine.  Spirituality is associated with unity.  This unity in diversity alone will bring you happiness.  I wish that you cultivate that principle of unity.  Then, every activity undertaken by you will acquire its due value and sanctity!
