“Nation states must today be prepared (see also here) to give up their sovereignty”, according to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who told an audience in Berlin that sovereign nation states must not listen to the will of their citizens when it comes to questions of immigration, borders, or even sovereignty.
No this wasn’t something Adolf Hitler said many decades ago, this is what German Chancellor Angela Merkel told attendants (in English translation) at an event by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin. Merkel has announced she won’t seek re-election in 2021 and it is clear she is attempting to push the globalist agenda to its disturbing conclusion before she stands down.
“In an orderly fashion of course,” Merkel joked, attempting to lighten the mood. But Merkel has always had a tin ear for comedy and she soon launched into a dark speech condemning those in her own party who think Germany should have listened to the will of its citizens and refused to sign the controversial UN migration pact:
“There were [politicians] who believed that they could decide when these agreements are no longer valid because they are representing The People”.
“[But] the people are individuals who are living in a country, they are not a group who define themselves as the [German] people,” she stressed. In German: „Das Volk sind die Menschen, die dauerhaft in einem Land leben und nicht eine Gruppe, die sie als Volk definiert“, betonte die Bundeskanzlerin.
So, Merkel denies the phenomena of German-ness and Germany, saying the people (Volk) are merely individuals (Menschen) on a piece of real estate (Land), not in a country (Staat), and furthermore, who lack authority to call themselves embodiments of German-ness rooted to and responsible for a religious, linguistic, moral, and cultural geography named Germany because no such realities exist.
This is breath-taking denial of reality. It is also plunging a knife into the hearts of Germans. Saying anything does not exist is not the counsel of wisdom. Swept away by Merkel’s assertion are two thousand years and more of German cultural peculiarity: Boniface, Bach, Goethe, Wagner, Bismarck, Bonhoeffer and the whole lot, lock, stock, and barrel. This is so enormous an assertion as to be hilarious. She really is a Socialist.
It won’t fly. It can’t fly. It is DOA, Angela. Logos is present whether you want Him to be or not. German-ness is one of His manifestations. American-ness is another; and etc. through the nation states, each a sovereign authority in freedom or aspiring to be.
As I have said, in order for a nation state to cease to exist, all three of its components must concur: Land, Families, Constitution. They never will.
No doubt part of Angela’s intent is to suppress the word Volk (Folk) for its history in Nazi propaganda — note The Fraud Obama’s default to the term folks — and pre-Nazi German racism. But the method of propaganda is to de-form legitimate language — every country comprises a unique Volk, who make it charming or not, but at least unique — and the answer to propaganda is the responsible impulse of reformation, not the juvenile impulse of suppression.
All language has a legitimate use, to include profanity and obscenity. Proper and precise use of language, strongly bound to reality as reality presents itself (empirical, method of correlation), is the answer to propaganda, which aims always and only to distract attention from reality.
Angela is saying she never grew up.
