Countrymen,
ORBIS NON SUFFICIT
SOLUS DEUS SUFFICIT
Why do the nations rage so furiously together,
And why do the people imagine a vain thing?
The leaders of the nations take counsel against Him,
Against the Lord, and against His anointed.
“Let us be quit of Him, and throw away His guidance.”
But He Who dwells in Truth shall have them in derision.
My soul yearns for You, O Lord, my Friend:
Your right hand lifts me up.
Those who seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into despair.
They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
I shall rejoice in You; every one who trusts The Lord shall glory:
but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
