Joshua Philipp: On Marxism in America, the Communist China
Threat, Unconventional Warfare and Hong Kong
Dated 03 August 2019, Superb Hour-Long Video Interview
Busy-bodies are not trying to regulate, they are trying to dictate.
Virtually all my life, political subversion of the USA — first by Great Britain, then by the likes of German, Italian, Iranian, French, Soviet, Salafi, Latin American, American and Chinese Socialists: Fascist, Communist and Moslem — has been treated by those with hands on the mechanisms of USA governance (USG) as annoying prattle or, in recent decades, as welcome and ineluctable improvement.
Mostly, political subversion of the USA has not been addressed seriously by USA leadership. Whereas, it has been addressed VERY seriously by a rampant array of eager subverters.
In the 1950s, a largely ignorant, half-hearted and unintelligent effort was made to eliminate Soviet political subversion while economic enslavement, domestic-and foreign-sourced, was let to dig in and expand. In the 1980s, an effort was made to overwhelm or nullify Soviet political subversion with targeted — but not plenary — releases from economic slavery. This left Communist political subversion — always sourced in academe, originating centuries ago at the Sorbonne as Humanism — and Moslem political subversion in place, and those activities grew mightily, bursting forth in the 1990s to full bloom as mandatory diversity training (aka re-education camps, gulag-style) and sensitivity training (aka accept your Moslem’s intolerance of your Anglo Protestant culture as beneficial to you, somehow, as a growing experience).
I admit to not having thought systematically on the subject of political subversion even though long seeing and deploring its operation. So I have slender grounds for establishing a charge of omission against USA leadership, these decades, for not addressing Socialist political subversion of their country and mine and my countrymen and theirs.
What follows therefore is in the nature of thinking with keyboard and not orderly, discursive exposition.
First, who is subverting USA polity? One party only, really, and that is Socialists. Socialists are the people who think:
1- that people on their own cannot find their way through life, BUT,
2- let them lay hands on mechanisms of governance and they become super-persons able to see centuries into the future and entitled to command said future, along with steps to achieve it,
3- such that they now know what everyone in the present must do — note the disagreeable sound of an edict —
4- because everyone is obliged — again, an edict — to achieve that command of the future super-persons have condescended, in noblesse oblige, to work up for them —
5- note the tone of demanding (edict, again) thanks for their own enslavement from the imputedly helpless, clueless, powerless masses … whose only real problem in life is bumptious idiots scheming to command and control it for them.
Salafi Jihad: Purity imposed by external authority.
Almujamala Jihad: Comity reposed by internal necessity.
Second, Socialist subverters of USA polity practice in three wardrobes: Fascist, Communist and Moslem. Numerically, Communists are the most, then Moslems and then Fascists. Communists and Moslems have a decades-long joint operating agreement to support one another’s initiatives. All are Socialist. This is important to remember. The actual taxonomy of contemporary USA political economy is far simpler than is said to be. Really, there are two parties: Americans and Socialists. I think it best to think of current events and their precursors in that binary, as interaction in that dichotomy, as vectors of motion inside that dialectic.
Remember, the issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.
Glenn Reynolds
Third, as planned and executed by them, Socialists, like worms, have chewed their way through American institutions, to include the family, leaving American institutions likely to implode into themselves from lack of structural integrity for standing upright. Nearly all American institutional dialogue occurs now in Socialists language designed to destroy the institution using it. And so its does. Self-described conservative American institutions use Socialist language for internal ruminations and external pronouncements. U.S. Armed Forces have been holed all over, above and below the water line, by Socialist programming languages. The U.S. intelligence community, to include its linked crony capitalist corporations, has been driven to enormous size = crippled capacity by Socialist appetite for controlled news narrative propaganda. Churches, ditto. Schools, ditto. Entertainment, ditto. Medical practices, ditto. HR departments, ditto. In fact, HR departments today are the beating heart and fevered minds of the entire Socialist enterprise to destroy the USA: Fascist, Communist and Moslem.

And yet, here we are, life goes on in regular courses, stressed here and there, but for Americans never beyond just recompense. And never beyond sight. We can speak, and speaking, we can protect ourselves. The Lord said/says …. The word is almighty power. Socialists understand that even when Americans do not. The word, also, is immortal.
What is a principled conservative?
Someone who obfuscates with morality so they can
sneak out of the door with all the money?
Someone who rarely accomplishes anything of any importance to anyone?
Pretty sure most of us have had enough of them forever.
So, say the truth. That is the response to political subversion. Say it often, say it everywhere and say it with confidence. Dharma protects those who protect Dharma. Saying the truth calmly and deliberately — and writing it so — annihilates political subversion. Fear of political subversion — that was the Achilles’ heel of 1950s anti-communist activity — is unwarranted. The truth has nothing to fear, nor anyone who utters or writes it.
Now, to say the truth one must see the truth. This takes work. Mere emotion is not truth. Mere intellect is not truth. What is handed to us by tradition guaranteed by long experience probably is truth but still it should be accepted as truth only after testing it against experience. Truth will stand up to any amount of inquiry and injury. Beat it, kick it, burn it, throw it. No matter. If it is truth, it will be — after any kind or amount of abuse — the same as it was before testing. Impiety is rejecting as untrue that which one has tested against experience and found true. Testing the truth for veracity is pious, not impious.
How much work does seeing the truth require? A lot. For example, consider this essay on free speech in WaPo. Its author is one Jennifer Delton, history teacher at Skidmore College. Find the truth in her essay. If you wish for assistance, try this and/or this.
Another exercise: attend a political rally of some sort. Or a religious service. Drill down through the layers of appearance and misdirection until you satisfy yourself that you see what actually is happening during that event and why. This is not as facile as it may sound to be.
Again: watch a great Hollywood epic film. For example, Cleopatra with Burton and Taylor, El Cid with Heston and Loren, Once Upon A Time In The West with Bronson and Cardinale, Jeremiah Johnson with Redford and Geer, The Godfather Series with Pacino and Keaton, Lawrence of Arabia with O’Toole and Sharif, Napoleon (1927) by Abel Gance, The Vikings with Curtis and Leigh, The Spaghetti Westerns with Eastwood and Leone, The Big Country with Peck and Simmons, Bullitt with McQueen and Bisset. Then, see and hear through to what, if anything, in the movie rests on unimpeachable universal experience. Whatever comes to that, if anything, is truth.
Finally, read the Bible or Ramayana. Or, read a classical work in systematic theology, such as Paul Tillich’s three-volumes of that name: Vols. I, II, III. Now decide, inside those pages, have you been told the truth or not?
A lot of work, is it not? Just looking at the work is taxing. That is what it takes to see and hear the truth. Education is supposed to foster in you the ability to do just that. And even then, even if you see it and/or hear it, your grasp of the truth can be diminished or undone in a trice without your even realizing that it has been. Only, the truth will remain present whether you grasp it or not.
How do you know when you see the truth? You will not be able to un-see it. It will not go away. It is permanently before your eyes, on your mind or in your mind’s eye. It travels with you. You cannot leave it. And you cannot hurt it … and you know that you cannot.
And not the truth? It will disappear. You can leave it. It is immobile, it does not and cannot travel beyond the point where and the time when it is recognized as not true.
Once you see the truth, then say it. Better yet, write it. And smile while you do that.

Update 1: Much has been written about specifically Moslem political subversion of the USA and infiltration of the USG. Here is an early work on the subject, by Paul Sperry. By the same author, here is a current essay implying the D-R UniParty’s hiring of Salafi agents and suppression of prosecution of them and knowledge of their activities. Salafi and Shia Moslem political subversion world-over patterns with successful Fascist and Communist (i.e., Socialist) experiments in the art.
Update 2: Law or Mob Rule — Reflections on the Cultural Was Unfolding
By JohnQC
I woke up this morning and look at the news over coffee. The first story that caught my attention was that of the mobsters in Durham tearing down a statue of a confederate soldier. It put me in a mind akin to when the Taliban blew up the Buddhist statues in Afghanistan about the time of our involvement in the Taliban/AQ war after 911. These were the ancient 1700-year old Buddhist Statues of Bamiyan. After failing to destroy the 1,700-year-old sandstone statues of Buddha with anti-aircraft and tank fire, the Taliban brought a lorryload of dynamite from Kabul to complete the job. The statues were “offensive” to the Taliban much like the statues of confederate soldiers and confederate leaders are offensive to the left today. Suppose, extremists decided to blow up streets, university buildings, or statues that were erected or dedicated to honor people on the left whom we might disagree with but we honor none-the-less. We are not headed in a good direction and the Philistinism behavior that attempts to erase and destroy a part of our history needs to be stopped.
Long ago on this site, I chose the nym JohnQC, the abbreviated version of John Q. Citizen, an internet name to represent just a regular guy like Joe the Plumber or John Doe. I am not an “ist” or follow some “ism.” I am just an aging American approaching my 8th decade and saddened by what I see. I am not a National Socialist or a fascist or a skinhead (albeit a little bereft of hair). I don’t think of myself as being particularly left or right. Like many college students, I was a bit left-leaning but believed in the miracle which is the U.S. Over many years, I have evolved into a Constitutional conservative as many people do after becoming a “seasoned citizen.” You may have experienced similar transitions over time for some of the same reasons discussed below.
The Constitution as well as the Declaration of Independence were brilliant documents. These are documents which represent the basic agreement by which we live in America. The Constitution is the basis of our law. The document even provides the mechanism for changing or amending it if we choose to do so. If we do not follow this basic agreement, we become lawless and head towards anarchy, statism and the tyranny of the mob that follows from casting aside the basic laws of our country. We see signs of this tyranny in our streets today.
We are at that place in our history where we are in danger of anarchy with the blessings of too many elected officials. In 2008 after his election, Barack Obama spoke about the “fundamental transformation of the nation.” We knew little about what he meant at the time. We are still experiencing that “fundamental transformation” and it is not good. Many of us who did not vote for Obama, took the attitude of let’s wait and see how he does. Perhaps, his election will get the country over a few rough bumps from an at-times rocky past history. That did not happen and it seems his election only exacerbated problems and made things worse. Barack Obama seemed to pick at the healed scabs of our history. The country moved towards the radical left and increasing tyranny–a tyranny like we have not seen before. We are witnessing Obama’s legacy today. It is a legacy of “community organizing” replacing the rule of law. It is a legacy where mob rule and anarchy have replaced law. Moreover, I doubt that those in the street ever question who funds their efforts or what those funders represent. These mobs are not just spontaneous flash mobs. They are well-organized and well-funded efforts by the extreme left to replace our Republic. With what? Communism? Anarchy? These movements are replete with failures and the large-scale slaughter of citizens. There is a need to look at these puppeteers who pull the strings and think they have a better answer to government than our Democratic Republic form. We have fought off external threats of Communism and fascism over time and survived.
Now we are in the gravest of danger from internal threats. We witness the streets being taken over by mobs. We witness their destruction of the property of others. We witness their violence against others who speak out or disagree with them. We see the attempts at the destruction of religion, property rights, law, and now the destruction and erasure of history. It is like a cancer in gnawing away at the fabric of our country.
The Antifascists are really fascists with a different name, communists. Fascists or communists, they are statists with tyranny in mind. With some, it is not that complicated, they are just angry, unhappy and some with serious mental issues who want to see everything torn down. They try to legitimize what they do by glomming on to some movement that thinly cloaks sedition and treasonous behavior.
The corporate media has done us a great disservice by choosing a side. They, like the Deep State, tend to be left-wing or what is today called a Democrat. The corporate media has, in a sense, abdicated its necessary role in a free state; that of a free press. How do they do a disservice to citizens? They publish propaganda and disinformation. They fail to properly vet our candidates who are up for election or re-lection. They fail us by reporting news in a biased manner. These things taken together, make it difficult for hard-working people to obtain the information which they need to make informed decisions–to participate in government in a meaningful way. Instead, the want to be the arbiters of our elections.
The parallels with National Socialist Germany in its ascendancy (or more properly descendancy) are frightening. Similarly, with the Communist takeovers of other countries. If we continue on this path, dire things are likely to come which seems to be the goal of those spreading chaos.
Update 3: An abundance of laws, made by an abundance of busy-bodies, prevent people from living as they wish, associating/non-associating as they wish. So repleal the laws. Starting with the Great Society array of them.
Or, build public engagement facilities where those driven together against their wills by busy-bodies and their laws (for others, not for themselves, of course) can duke it out, choice of weapons, tactics, formations, etc. … excepting firearms.
It is annoying having these battles on public streets and private properties not purposed for that use. So let taxpayers give these maliciously driven-together — by busy-bodies and laws they make — public facilities for fighting, nice big ones where they can maneuver battalion-sized formations using battalion-level movements to combat.
Then, if they fight elsewhere, shoot ’em for public riot.
Or, repleal The Great Society legislation, in toto, and let people work out among themselves where they want to live and with whom. My 2c.
Or, have a chuckle and forget about it
Update 4: Tyler O’Neil misses the point. The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.
Update 5: Richard Fernandez: God killed the Left
Update 6: Viking Princess was a warrior (maybe a princess and possibly a warrior, reference feminist self-aggrandizement).
Related: Maybe not.
Update 7: Over the past two years the increasingly skeptical citizenry of the United States and Europe has been treated to a stream of op-eds and television appearances lamenting the looming collapse of the liberal world order, to be accompanied by a surge of illiberalism, nationalism, and fringe politics. Rarely, however, does such hand-wringing stray beyond shopworn comparisons of the “complex interdependence” of the glorious past and the parochialism and narrow-mindedness of the current era. In truth, we are not witnessing a dramatic systemic change driven by conniving external forces, but a meltdown of political authority in the West caused by the relatively straightforward indolence of its political class. Our troubles are less about liberalism’s decline or the ascendancy of left or right politics. Simply put, the citizenry in the West has been frustrated for decades with its elites’ inability to deliver workable solutions to the problems of slow growth, deindustrialization, immigration, and the overall decline of self-confidence across the West.
The legitimacy, and hence stability, of the international system rests to a degree on the ability of the leading powers to deliver at home—or, simply put, to govern. The increasing volatility of international politics is in part a byproduct of systemic dysfunction across the West at the level of domestic politics. Americans and Europeans alike are running out of patience with the governing class. In Europe, the government’s inability to control mass migration or develop effective solutions to domestic terrorism are two important drivers of the growing public discontent. In the United States the middle and working classes have been frustrated for decades with the government’s inability to remedy de-industrialization, urban decay, and declining economic opportunity.
Glenn Reynolds comments: And in both places, as the “elite” has grown demonstrably less competent and honest, it has also grown visibly more contemptuous of the people it purports to govern. That contempt is, I think, the most poisonous part of the whole equation.
My essays on the question of authority are here.
Update 8: The appalling Sally Yates speaks for the D-R UniParty
Update 9: There is Red Left/Fascism (Soviet/EU/Shia Jihad/ChiCom) and there is Black Left/Fascism (Mussolini/Hitler/Salafi Jihad) There is also a Green Left/Fascism in Africa, the Caribbean, the USA and Europe, originally under the aspirational name Pan-Africanism, and still seeking to polymerize into a world-hegemonic political and economic entity.
