RAMANAM
In the Name of The Father, and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit, Amen.
Countrymen,
ORBIS NON SUFFICIT
SOLUS DEUS SUFFICIT
Who are we and why do we fight?
We are sons and daughters of the United States of America
and we fight to protect our mother country.
We are Americans and we fight to defend our nature.
We govern ourselves and we fight to preserve that privilege.
Power Line is an excellent gymnasium at which to exercise the little grey cells. I have been beating up, this week, the boys at Power Line, who are lawyers and scholars because they are treating our national condition as political-philosophical and legal problems whereas it is a military problem. Unsurprisingly, the boys are disinclined to see it that way. So I have been punching away at what I consider their crippling delusions of law and political philosophy — today — as medicaments sufficient to roust the dis-ease inside our country.
To illustrate, I will just string together here my comments this week at Power Line along with links to the relevant posts thereat.
POTUS Trump is loyal to his Mother Country and he has animal cunning. I trust him, his Countrymen and his Master. I think with this tweet he has trolled some people, wittingly. And nothing in the tweet is untrue.
Consensus decorum has been abused. So? Has the nation? Should we worry about SCOTUS wetting their skirts from taking a breach of decorum as a breach of law and/or fact? If they are that feeble perhaps more decorums merit abusing, such as the one which takes SCOTUS, standing law itself and law’s practitioners as decorous.
There is a tone in modern law-dom, parallel to a tone in modern government-dom, which sniffs at common law and common sense and swoons for, effectively, civil law and fussy concerns. If one imagines decorum trumping truth, one imagines man serving law rather than law serving man. In America, as we all know, law is supposed to serve man and not the reverse. Lesson from Howard Root.
Decorum be hanged if it obstruct truth. In this as on so many occasions instantly feared and condemned, POTUS Trump has told the truth. By definition, that cannot speed amiss. And he has trolled some people, unknown by name to us but no doubt done successfully, into the bargain.
Were I his counselor, I would urge POTUS Trump regarding sleep, food and exercise. But I am not that.
Courts will have their say, of course, but today they conduct their operations on a battlefield, not on the side of a village green or even an urban promenade. The battlefield will have the final say. Lawyers have limited authority on a battlefield. Soldiers have absolute and final authority on it. The big picture here is what matters, the battlefield.
Think Patton punching through to the north shore of Sicily. He had to kick butt to do it, as a battlefield commander, not as a decorous lawyer. POTUS Trump is by definition a battle commander, good, bad or indifferent. That is his role. That is the role his electorate wants him to fulfill.
Our country is at war, both civil and foreign. I cannot think of a worse concatenation of circumstances. Yet, there it is, there it must be addressed. Again, unprecedented thought and action are required.
POTUS Trump is not in office to parse courtroom customs or legal precedents. There are no precedents and the enemies have no customs beyond bloodshed. He is in office to punch through to unconditional surrender by an external (Jihad) and an internal (Leftism) enemy who are allied against the very being of the USA and every bleeping lawyer in it, including their own. I trust him to see which butt to kick to get that job done, and the screams I hear make me think he is over target and hitting it.
Overall, we are on a battlefield, not in a courtroom, though the courtroom also is in operation. The big and ultimately consequential venue is the battlefield. Soldiers have more authority than lawyers by the very nature of their professions, and rightly so. Lawyers are accustomed to wielding so much money and other power in a genteel, confined space guaranteed safe by soldiers (!) — and theologians — that they tend to elevate, in their minds, their calling above its actual remit.
It is war-fighting, not anarchy. Well-led, targeted, successful military attacks by uniformed soldiers (see the picture, those clothes are a uniform). I admire the strategic war-fighting wisdom and skill of the commanders of these student squads and companies. They set their objective exactly where it ought to be: to control the Offices of Admission. The counterpart federal objective is DEd’s OCR, which they wisely and skillfully seized and exploited some years ago and still hold.
Wars are won in the minds of the opposing commanders, not in the bodies of their troops. These commanders are directing their troops exactly as they should be directing them, to precisely the right objectives for their purpose. They will succeed in a great many places, top to bottom of the academic prestige monitor and already have at the federal level. I admire them as field commanders. They are capable and smart.
These students are as nothing. They matter not at all. Their commanders and financiers, deep in their dens, obscured by politicians and bureaucrats, should be the focus of law enforcement scrutiny and civil defense battalion counter-information warfare. It is war, after all, not protest, and it is against the nation as a whole, not facets thereof. Furthermore, the anti-American commanders and financiers are known wolves who travel in known packs and pay politicians and bureaucrats to leave them alone, just as Mafia do.
The sitrep shows us far beyond the reach of the tools of lawyers and scholars … and clergy. Those actors already put the nation in a defensive crouch, by ab-using and un-using their professions. If we and our country make it out of this war with victory, it will be by ministrations of industrialists and soldiers … and monastics. They alone, now, have tools with reach sufficient to win this war for America against dream-riddled and seriously deadly SOBs.
If Ike was warning about the military-industrial complex — and I think he was misunderstood on that, deliberately — he was wrong. That asset makes the nation sovereign, and from sovereignty, first and foremost, flow the other benefits of civilization via independent nationhood.

Update 5: The all-important return fire prevented a massacre. Thanks to that person, who may have been a female Capitol Police Officer(?). And it was hand guns (area weapons) against a long gun (stand-off weapon) outside hand gun optimal range! The others there are sensible now of their vulnerability then, perhaps now also of ours as individuals, families and a nation … ?
Although inevitably abused, there is a sound reason for incarcerating or executing personalities whose speech and/or writing runs to conjuring the negative emotions: such emotions precipitate corresponding actions. Sometimes, theologians have understood and remarked that phenomenology with vigor. De-personalizing speech, which is all the rage these days — Are these Republicans or Democrats? — should be unthinkable and taken as an indication, at least, of threatening danger.
A Socialist is a deadly thing.
