Dear Students,
The Denominations called Christian have a future as organizations. Christianity has no future inside them. Christianity may emerge from the Denominations, in the following ways.
First, the sanctuaries may be turned into Prayer Halls for all believers, wherein silence reigns, and the chanting of sacred texts. The work of priests is in this realm, ensuring the perpetuity of ritual prescribed by sacred texts, which cause the universe to exist or not.
Second, Christianity, the religion so called, may be reacquired as a way of living, a stochastic structure that is soteriologically effective, reflecting the aspirations in human nature of truth, consciousness and bliss. Christianity does not foster the demonic propensities of confusion, disorder, tyranny and terror. The axis of soteriological stochastic structure is repetition of the Name (Ramanam).
Third, the goal of religious striving may be refocused to ears, tongues, hands, mouths and eyes as liberation from the pangs of birth and death, that salvation – which may be compared with rescuing a friend from an enemy encircling them – is a proximate fulfillment, not a full or lasting one, which is liberation itself.
Fourth, the leadership of religious striving may be sought amongst the strivers, who flatten command structure and do the work, six hours daily for service, six for self, six for earning a living and six for sleep.
Fifth, the structure of Christian living may refocus with monastic guidelines on the worthiness of all human activity. The refocus for monastic vows in Latin Christianity – Poverty Chastity Obedience – is: Duty is God Work is Worship. The refocus for ethics in Latin Christianity – Love God Do What You Want (Theologian Augustine of Hippo) – is: a Christian does not lie, cheat or steal or tolerate those who do. The monastic milieu is quiet.
Students, these are doing points. If the processes that exist in our Denominations called Christian or in our society, built out from Denominations of Reformed Christianity (Lawyer John Calvin), could resolve a fresh condition of prosperity for us, they would have done that. Other means are under way, indications given. I invite you to expand them.
