Countrymen,

I believe the central objective of the new politics we need should be a massive, sweeping, radical redistribution of power.  From the state to citizens; from the government to Parliament; from Whitehall to communities. From the EU to Britain; from judges to the people; from bureaucracy to democracy.  Through decentralisation, transparency and accountability we must take power away from the political elite [really, effete] and hand it to the man and woman in the street.

Regarding their baleful situation, Americans are asking themselves, “How could this happen?”  Women especially, as well they should be, are in distress, fearful for their lives and the lives of their loved ones.  Many moan in justified agony, “Why did not someone stop this evil creature long ago?”

The health of a nation is measured by the content and the content of its women.

Besides the obvious answer a theologian is required, rightly, to give for those questions — i.e., you brought it on yourself and God has some redemptive purpose in allowing it to exist, though not indefinitely because your atonement will complete — there is also this one:  there are too many lawyers.

Lawyers make laws the way cats make kittens.  The more laws there are, the more people decide that only laws matter — not morality — and they make laws to enforce their wishes on others.

Multiply laws and multiply opportunities for tyrannous agendas.  The result is grinding to pieces of the cultural, religious and moral engines, compelling an utter wreck of a civilization.

Liberty is inversely proportional to law.  Culture is inversely proportional to the number of lawyers.  Morality and manners are inversely proportional to the number and reach of courts.

In other words, social harmony and felicitation are inversely proportional to the amount of control visited upon a population through the agency of law and its creators and agents, lawyers and their courts.

The more laws you have, the more you and your family and neighbors are desperate for happiness.

In life, processes are intrinsically self-organizing and self-adjusting.  Burden those processes with laws beyond what fosters their intrinsic nature and capabilities and you wreck those processes, driving them into entropy.

Compel the natural expansion of life to contract and you end life.

The “rule of law” is a hideous goal.  It is anti-social and psychopathic.  It is an engine of tyranny, more so than “the rule of men,” which at least is unavoidable and always is frangible and therefore improvable.

The rule of compassion is the ideal.  Law is meant to foster compassion.  It has no other purpose.  Compassion is the goal, law is a means to move towards that goal which, like all means, all instruments, is multi-use and so can be employed to deflect society away from the goal of compassion even though its founding intent is to assist society to achieve it.

That is where the world is today.  Law is being used to defy compassion.  And where law itself is insufficiently puissant for that defiance, as with this Fraud in the White House, then law is brushed aside and defiance alone declared with brazen insolence.

The call for “less government” is a deliberately misleading term.  The lawyers and their minions who use it make flocks of new laws when empowered to do so.  But what is really needed is for them to erase flocks of laws and not replace them.

We need politicians who carry big erasers to erase masses of laws.

Most deleterious behavior should be neither legal nor illegal but rather, unthinkable.  Some bad acts require laws punishing them (bad actors are immune from punishment, which only affects their bodies, not their impulses), and these should be free of quibbling and executed with swift impartiality.

Most laws mandating this or that behavior are themselves deleterious and should not exist.  Laws compelling this or that behavior compel dehumanization of a population.  Reference North Korea, Iran and formerly Iraq.

Thus the politicians with erasers.

Let bad acting be unthinkable, not legal, not illegal, just unthinkable.  Find ways to make it unthinkable.  There are ways to do that, not in everyone, but in enough to ensure life manages itself primarily through its own intrinsic predispositions and with occasional assist from laws.

Candidates for unthinkability include all of the “hot button” issues of the day:  notably “queering” (misogyny) and its support, “abortion” (murder), but also “environment” (de-industrialization) and “sensitivity” (re-tribalization).

All of these “hot issues” are eminently susceptible to fixing by the processes of life without interference of law.

The goal of this and every era is compassion.  Remove and do not replace the welter of laws that obstruct its fulfillment.  That is the libertarian conservative agenda.

To do that, the number of lawyers must be significantly reduced, ASAP.  This must involve removing the majority of schools of law from the nation’s landscape.

Update 2: Post and, at length, comments deal with The Fraud as black and electoral dynamics thereabouts.  But, as is known, The Fraud is not black socially, intellectually or any other way.  He has one African biological parent, apparently, but that is not black as Americans uses the word.  His every other and salient aspect is white, as Americans use the word.  And socially he descends from the self-satisfied, hyper-sexed, hyper-active monied orbits of the CIA and so-called philanthropic foundations.  Codevilla: The Chosen One.

So he mixes with black public figures, famous and infamous.  So what?  So would most any white fratboy given a chance, thinking it would make them cool.  I think that’s why The Fraud does it.  He’s a black wannabe, like many, many whites today are.

I think The Fraud is the first guy in the White House to have been bred and raised for it by the company and those foundations.  He’s their boy.  They protect him.  MSM isn’t afraid of him.  They’re afraid of them.  Ditto Hillary.  And ValJar, also a company/foundation issue, is their helpmeet/minder to The Fraud.

Fear of his sponsors, not racism, silences would-be critics of The Fraud.  The Washington Compost makes my point with their picture topping this oped by George Will.
