RAMANAM
In the Name of The Father, and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit, Amen.
Countrymen,
A friend, a retired engineer and industrial project manager, commented to me upon reading this article:
With apologies to Dr. Hawking, I have always been skeptical of the Big Bang theory. It just doesn’t make sense to me that the universe appeared spontaneously all at one time and 14 billion years a long time to be extrapolating. [T]here are a great number of assumptions necessary to formulate the foundations of modern cosmology and the results are highly sensitive to them. There are also many things that are not understood at all, such as dark matter, dark energy and particularly quantum gravity. Given all of this uncertainty I don’t think any predictions about the origin of the universe can be considered reliable at this time.
I replied to him:
In any field, including Theology, I have never read a statement more eloquent than that.
Surely one day soon we will be discussing Cosmological Theology, Chemical Theology, Physical Theology, Biological Theology, Political Theology, etc. Or will it be Theological Cosmology, Theological Chemistry, Theological Physics, Theological Biology, Theological Politics, etc.? The name of this blog suggests the latter, but is the blog named backwards?
Non-duality, not unity, should be the goal of thought.
