Unitarians

RAMANAM

Countrymen,

Unitarian Universalism is not a theologically grounded religion,” Ms. Brock said. “If we mess up our principles and values, we don’t have a theology to fall back on. We’re not Catholic — we can’t just keep giving communion until we figure it out. If we don’t have our values figured out, our institutions become pointless bureaucracies.

From the comments:

Starr King is part of the certificating mix in Berkeley and the Graduate Theological Union. Unitarianism derives from Harvard, which was established originally as a Puritan (Cromwellian) seminary. It is one of three unitarian movements sprung from New England Puritanism, the others being Transcendentalism and Christian Science. Puritans’ puppies proscribe their parents. Unitarians were one of two soi-disant religious judicatories who opposed creation of the Constitution of the United States of America. The other was the Quakers.

Unitarians — Harvard — are long a major element of the New Age, Esalen and Communist (now “Globalist“) movements. The essence of the unitarian heresy is denial of two natural processes (devolution and involution) in preference for one (evolution). This allies Unitarians with hegemons of any stripe and against governmental order of regularity and standards of any kind. I know, an oxymoron, but when one reads two thirds of life out of existence, rigor, thoroughness and consistency are right up there with spousal abuse as desirable values.

Ms. Brock makes a commendably lucid representation of Unitarianism.
