Countrymen,

ORBIS NON SUFFICIT

They left off divine providence (paradox, the unexpected, Black Swan), religion and national sovereignty as drivers of the future:

DNI/NIC Original Here

KGSNightWatch Analysis

Uri Friedman, What U.S. Intelligence Predicted the World Would Look Like in 2015

The seven drivers that constitute the framework of the document are listed in the beginning.

The key drivers identified are:

(l) Demographics.

(2) Natural resources and environment.

(3) Science and technology.

(4) The global economy and globalization.

(5) National and international governance.

(6) Future conflict.

(7) The role of the United States

No need to read further.  Typical Globalist frame of reference.

The seven drivers are not NIC’s observations regarding the future but rather NIC’s agenda regarding the future.  The seven are not what NIC think will happen but rather what NIC intend to make happen … and let only happen.  NIC is aware that the unexpected (paradox, divine providence, Black Swan), religion and national sovereignty drive the future.  NIC is not ignoring those three drivers but rather signaling they intend to run them over, to ensure they do NOT drive the future.

The omission of those three drivers is deliberately affronting.  It expresses an agenda-driven hostility to those drivers.  There is no other explanation for their omission.  NIC may be stupid, colossally stupid, but they are not ignorant.  Their acts are those of deliberation and they know the ground.  They know, for example, the religious threat aimed at them and the national sovereignty one.  They know also the threat the unexpected holds over their intentions.  They are stupid but not ignorant.

NIC’s seven drivers of the future may be taken as occupations of their Globalist friends to whom NIC intend to throw US taxpayers’ financial, physical and moral wealth.

The Unexpected should top every intel product.

Did DNI/NIC ask me to draft a list of phenomena that drive the future — they have not and surely will not — it would look something like this:

1- The Unexpected

2- Geography

3- Weather

4- Aspiration for Freedom of:

Thought
Speech
Education
Association
Diet
Movement
Religion
Private Property
Private Enterprise

5- Aspiration for Personal, Group and National Sovereignty

6- Aspiration for Procreation as a Family Comprising Husband (Man), Wife (Woman) and Children

7- Religion

That is a draft list, no doubt missing elements, the which one is welcome to add in comments or email to me.  The list contemplates the unforeseen as the most effective driver, followed, in order of descending effectiveness, by two physical drivers, three spiritual drivers and one social driver.  By spiritual is meant activity in the dimension of life that unites power and meaning: the dimension of spirit.

Only human creatures experience the dimension of spirit.  Most of our life is lived in this dimension, most of our labor is in it.  We only, of all creatures, are concerned with whether an activity, even a thought, is right or wrong, legal or illegal, good or bad, beneficial or harmful, power-enhancing or power-diminishing, powerful meaningfully or powerful uselessly.  That is the dimension of spirit.  The near-constant evaluations of activity humans make illustrate the predominately spiritual nature of their existence and destiny.

Animals make no such evaluations, by the way.  They have emotions as humans do, so they can feel danger and pleasure, and try to respond accordingly, but animals do not evaluate the meaning and/or power of activity in which they engage.  Humans, on the other hand, evaluate activity before, during and after they execute it.  We are not only animals even though we share abilities, kinds of experience — including ratiocination and emotions — and certain dimensions of life with animals.  However, additionally and uniquely, we live in a dimension of life animals cannot and do not: spirit.

Spirit (German Geist, Old English Ghost) is another, unique dimension of experience beyond and enveloping the dimension of psyche, which animals share with humans, and the dimensions of the organic and the inorganic, which all creatures share.  Beyond and enveloping the dimension of spirit, incidentally, is the dimension of history, about which this post is not … directly.

Update 1: The Unexpected, Exhibit A: a very brave Man al-Sisi, a Soldier.  See also morchidat  in Morocco.

The smart move would be for USA, Russia and India to join forces to second al-Sisi’s insights in this regard.  Those three are the principal targets of the clerics al-Sisi reproaches and thus have common ground here.  Al-Sisi says “No!” to reconstitution of 7th Century Arab avaricious murder.

Related here and here and here and here and here.

Again al-Sisi tells Muslims to reform to modernity, at Davos.  See also morchidat  in Morocco.

Update 2: Seeing the struggle as between Democrats and Republicans is superficial. Wanting to make someone hurt is low.

The struggle is between Globalists, who want to eliminate US national sovereignty by subsuming it in a quietly-designated, ineluctable trans-national crony-government-corporatism, and Americans, who want to be openly sovereign and independent and whip the piss out of anyone who designs to make them otherwise … and otherwise leave everyone else alone.

Americans do not want to hurt anyone, especially Americans. But anyone who wants Americans to be not Americans — that is, anyone who wants to hurt Americans — Americans want to put such a hurt on that they will not again want to hurt Americans.

Our impulses should be refined and deep.

Update 4: Related: It’s Not Easy Going Green.

Update 5: A correspondent of Scott Johnson’s at Power Line treats of an unnoticed aspect of the Hillary Clinton private email server affront.  I commented:

Scott, your correspondent assumes Hillary recognizes a country to secure. She does not. That’s the point of the entire world governance/globalist elite, isn’t it?: there is no national sovereignty, only personal viability in a global community.  Get yours, they say to themselves.

Your correspondent’s point works in a law-based system of national sovereignty. But this now is a rules-based system of global governance by hyper-privileged elites — they attend the same cocktail parties everywhere on the globe — in their private global community.  So they think. They can do as they wish because there is no authority superior to themselves, no nation deserving much less demanding security.

Their thinking — global governance (by themselves alone, because they mean so well), no national sovereignty — drives the Arab/Pan-African invasion of Europe, the Indo-Chinese/Pan-South American invasion of North America and such as the Obergefell-vs-Hodges decision. We make the rules, you obey them, and we don’t want or have national sovereignties obstructing our wishes for having lots of fun for ourselves while we talk about doing lots of good for you others.

If your correspondent wants to help, ask him or her to preach the reality of USA national sovereignty and all it implies in whatever is their orbit. These elegant globalists wield great power, as is known, but their foundation remains a cloud, a dream. Their power derives from their generation of deluding fictions. Ask your correspondent to make that point in his or her circle of contacts, to say again and again what is true, that national sovereignty is here to stay and will not be swept away.

Related: Glenn Reynolds quotes, approvingly, a jerk at Walter Russell Mead’s American Interest moaning that Hungary’s new emergency laws, to address invasion of that country by the Middle Eastern horde, trample on several basic liberal values.  Reynolds concurred in this language: I’m afraid so.  Against which I commented, Tut.  To the jerk at American Interest I commented:

… laws that trample on several basic liberal values ….

No, you smug, fat, safely-padded, hand-wringing jackwagon, it’s not about liberal values, it’s about national and cultural sovereignty. Trying to make a sovereignty issue a values issue is classic fasco-commie subversion by misdirection. I knew American-Interest is sanctimonious fasco-commie, but this really self-exposes these muckers of weaponized empathy.

Update 19: The slogan and organizing principle of President Trump’s administration is America first.  As he explained last night: “My job is not to represent the world.  My job is to represent the United States of America.”

This is just common sense.  Absent the Obama aberration, no president would think to say it.

Calling that line common sense is haughty, sententious spite.  The line was the central doctrinal declaration of the speech, and the glance of POTUS and the cameras to the Ds upon its completion was Shakespearean in dramatic effect and de-cision.

Lewandowski said, rightly, long ago that the election was about globalism and nationalism, meaning, we will have one and not the other.  In that glance and lens last evening, Ds declared themselves globalists, which is not news, but is now on record, en masse, or nearly so.  Roger Simon today wonders if D is dead as a party.  If so, their Globalism/Soros-ism is the reason.

It is not nice to fight mother nature (Dharma).  And certainly not intelligent.

Update 21: Lianne Laurence: UN secretary general calls for “global governance” with ‘teeth’

Rye catholic parish
If Mr. Guterres wants a global government, he should encourage people to join the Catholic Church, which is God’s global government. Mass, confession, great moral teaching, and marriage, all good for everybody. Yes, we even have statues of great saints who have made the world better for everyone, such as Fr. Junipero Serra.
Peace, Fr. Matt

David R. Graham to Rye catholic parish
I appreciate your desire to co-opt the enemy’s jargon, rejigger it, and launch the result in the right direction. I think that a useful address to this situation. For example, in place of meeting the needs, one can say serving the persons, in place of global governance, one can say spiritual guidance, in place of transforming the country/world one can say purifying the heart, and in place of sustainable development one can say joy in expansion.

In the present case, the Catholic Church’s use, and more to the point The Church’s use, of the term global government is not comparable to globalists’ use of it. Switching allegiance from the latter to the former would not accomplish anything of soteriological value, which is the core and core purpose of the Catholic Church and The Church in full, the Spiritual Community. Global governance (armed) to Guterres and like cocktail Communists is not what The Peace Of Christ as the infusing medium of peace on earth and among nations means to, say, Benedict XVI.

So, I know you want to do a right thing; you even identify where and how to do it; yet in this particular I think you have not thrown that good intention into patent fact.
