I don’t have a lot to add. They’ve broken with Europe and want to focus on The Americas, yet they continue to pamper Israel, a definite, demonstrable enemy of US sovereignty. They elide the fact that contemporary US cultural resources preclude the experiential, industrial, economic, managerial, intellectual, and engineering skills required to make into reality their aspirations, which remain vague withall.
Moreover, they are hobbled by a cohort of senior Officers — such as the current CG, XVIII ABC — who congratulate themselves on slipping responsibility for war-fighting onto their Enlisted grunts and strategic intent onto their civilian bosses, the while refusing to (1) learn and accept the actualities of modern warfare at scale and (2) learn and accept responsibility to perform in systems of real operational and strategic art.
One suspects that a CVN and its supports going under, or, salvos of high precision munitions arriving on Houston from Mexico will precede Congress’ and an Administration’s cashiering hundreds of GOs, ADMs & revolving-door think tank executives as prelude to finding people willing and able to discharge those high national responsibilities that live in the hearts and rest on the shoulders of true Officers of The United States of America.
More posers and worse we do not need. We need what only broad and deep national culture befitting a civilization state such as our own can throw into existence.
We need leaders of humility.
