The title of this post at pulptastic is 47 Photos That Prove People Had More Class In The Past.  Not exactly true for each of the pictures.  However, also, I suspect the title means in the past people were proud of themselves and their country and society and sensibilities, such as with fashion, dance, etc., and believed in what they and their fellow citizens were doing.  Class in that sense, is widely absent today, replaced by self-mutilation, abortion, grade inflation, celebrity for its own sake, the fascism of crony capitalism, etc. etc. etc. … all of which are déclassé.
