Saying we have problems is tedious. Sarcasm is hurtful. Fault-finding is repulsive. I don’t read Instapundit because years of tedious sarcasm and supercilious name-calling is unhelpful. Glenn and the rest waste my time, just as Mirengoff did. Sooner or later a non-masochist and non-sadist just walks away from clever, sardonic street preachers because, basically, they “got nothing.”
What’s to replace the degeneracy of the choirs of experts who live large in D.C. and elsewhere, threatening dire times for everyone else? Where is it that sanity is coming from? How can professionals and politicians who make the problems solve the problems? Obviously they can’t, so why entertain forlorn hopes that they can?
What comes after the rainbow degeneracy flag is not flown beneath the US Flag? Who’s to be the engineering, industrial, and military base to stand, make, and defend the country when 2/3s at least of citizens are full of drugs, out of shape, and saturated in thinking like children?
For example, I’ll believe there is a food shortage when I see obesity receding nation-wide. For another example, I’ll believe the US is a great nation when I see that her powers are not thrown in the direction of subjugating another nation, any other nation. We’re a good people, but — look at Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Dominion voting machines, numerous Secretaries of State and County Election Commissioners — we are not a light to the nations. If we are exceptional at anything it is as a monitory image of the consequences of psychiatry, greed, and psychotropic drugs.
Molotov knows full well our Framers struggled to prevent USA from devolving into democracy. Why doesn’t he factor that into his turbid attempts at humor? Why doesn’t he come up with something useful for Americans to do that they actually can do, that would actually help them in their lives, such as, reduce the number of their desires?
I am impressed by neither disasters nor amusements. Steven is being a cute academic, self-referential for an in-group of dilettantes. I know the profile and am unimpressed with that, too.
A man who claims to be a man has all the responsibilities of being a man on his shoulders. It is impossible to put too much responsibility on an actual man. Whatever it is, a man can handle it.
I am impressed with people who are happy making things that give cheer to themselves and their neighbors and government minions who do not obstruct or nudge such people for making those things.
Americans today are trying to live through to beyond the rot of their organizations, GO and NGO, that were constructed to serve another era altogether, a non-electronic one. Russians beat Americans to the winner’s circle on that one, by 40 lengths at least and pulling away, so to speak.
Steven has little grasp of the realities, mostly he is for preening before academic degenerates and pig eaters. Not manly, irresponsible.
