Among the remarkable feats in second, third, and fourth order contingencies / consequences attending Russia’s SMO in Ukraine is self-revelation by almost the entire American Conservative media sphere and cognitive leadership that they believe CIA-MI6 propaganda about said SMO.
So-called Conservative Inc. — and not just RINOs but card-carrying Libertarian and Conservative political operators and intellectuals as well — have been turned upside down. Just about all of them. Their websites, choices of subject, and intellectual architecture tell the tale in vivid color. Upside down. Utterly trivial.
Only yesterday Conservative Inc. knew for a fact, and rightly, that their government’s officials lied about the validity of the 2020 national elections they jimmied and a viral pandemic they helped CFP (Chinese Fascists Party) develop and deploy.
Yet today, Conservative Inc. believe their government’s official (CIA-MI6) propaganda regarding the Russian SMO, from who started it, to who are the baddies, to who is losing the battle and the war — the [barbaric] Russians, of course.
Conservative Inc. today — media and punditry — is a firehose of intellectual, moral, and historical rubble. Upside down. Utterly venal.
The loudest voices in US and Europe pushing war with Russia are Ashkenazy Jewish atheists (e.g., Max Boot, Vicki Nuland), grandchildren of Nazi party members or collaborators (Freeland, van der Leyden, much of the present German cabinet and EU Commission), or both (Soros, Zelensky and his chief sponsors/advisers).
This is a salient factor in US domestic and foreign affairs. These people match the profile described by Konovalov XO Yevgeni Bonovia addressing his skipper, Viktor Tupolev, at the end of the torpedo chase after Red October: “You arrogant ass – you’ve killed us.”
Lavrov keeps saying, US and EU substitute “rules-based international order” for “rule of law.” US, with EU in tow, makes the rules, which can change by the minute because of Good Idea Fairies from the Charles River. Flocks of lawyers, clergy, pedagogues, soldiers, medical doctors, and other “professionals” in the US and EU espouse this notion. The formal name for it in political philosophy is Fascism. Even Communists had more respect for established structure than do our precious Fascists — UniParty’s Nuland, Hicks, Power, Sullivan, Neo-Cons/Libs, etc..
Astonished are the Heavenly Host — and I — but also grateful for the self-reveal, that American “conservatives/libertarians” have Russia-hate so visceral and irrational that they wittingly join Neo-Con/Lib Fascists of Europe and their own country, whom they otherwise abominate, to obstruct Russian efforts to demilitarize and denazify an artificial country of the most ugly perversity, a perversity those same Neo-Con/Lib Fascists of Europe and America want to continue indulging to advance their personal degeneracy as well as their pet project of subjecting Russians to dollar hegemony.
Meanwhile, global dollar hegemony — aka “rules-based international order” — is unravelling because Euro-American Fascists seize steal in US banks dollar-denominated currency reserves belonging to other countries.
That compendium of craziness is its own lethal enemy. Calling Hunter Biden a scoundrel and Volodymyr Zelensky a saint is something a rational person does not do. They work together!
Yeah, Reynolds and Co. are shooting off their mouths without reference to maps, history, or to Russia’s long-stated and perfectly obvious — and now in train of fulfillment — declarations. MTG as well has gone silly and absurd.
There is an old saying in India: “The greatest sage can be flipped completely upside down by the merest whiff of delusion, and he would never even know that it happened.” Today this describes Reynolds and Co., who are in numerous and distinguished company, all pushing up George Soros’ interests without knowing that they are.
To my old eyes, that is the most remarkable facet of our experience: watching our supposedly greatest minds and biggest influencers cast gleefully their reputations into cheering the easier wrong instead of the harder right.

Instapundit writers believe Five Eyes propaganda — hate on Russia — even when operational and tactical data is plentifully available and strategic data can be sussed out. Moreover, gangs of commenters whip out the most preposterous nonsense as considered learning.
Reynolds and Green have made Instapundit toxic irrationality on foreign affairs and arrogant triviality on domestic ones. Even Power Line writers and commenters have a better grasp of reality now, something I had never expected to happen, but it has. Still timid and tepid, but more faithful to reality than the unrecognized ignorance that has overtaken Instapundit. When the head is in the sand, the backside is in the air.

Wow, that’s harsh. I hope it’s not really that bad. But some salvage operations seem necessary. If forum participants could say their piece and leave it out there for consideration, instead of jumping all over disagreement like paid NWO trolls, that would be a start.
