Schweitzer said that where the music of J. S. Bach is played or heard, there is the Church.  It is so.  Ironic then that our solidly secular, morbidly misanthropic betters of academe, commerce and politics still play and hear the music of J. S. Bach.  They must be Crypto-Christians.
