Countrymen,
It is incorrect to refer to these violent Shiites and Wahhabists as terrorists. They use terror but their aim is Caliphism, at least on the Wahhabi/Al Queda side. The Shiites, especially the Iranian element, are bent on world political domination. The Wahhabists, are realistic about not achieving that but do feel they can achieve world domination by extortion. Humanity is facing both of these attacks right in Iraq. Neither will succeed, of course.
The engines of the violence, both the domination by extortion and the political domination, are one or two or three key mosques. This is true for the key shrines of all of the religions which allow those shrines to degenerate from religious to political and military purposes, as the Shiites and Wahhabists have done with their key shrines.
So the key shrines must be destroyed and the lands they stand on turned over to peaceful uses and their caretakers (so-called clergy) killed or captured so the shrines cannot be regrown.
In Iraq this would include the Shiite shrine at Najaf and maybe one or two others. In Iran it would include the Shiite shrine at Qom and maybe one or two others.
The Vatican, Canterbury Cathedral and The Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City are key Christian shrines that serve political and military purposes.
There will be a key Wahhabi shrine in Eastern Saudi Arabia but I do not know what it is.
Wahhabism is an heretical Sunni sect. Shiism is heretical Islam.
When Hebrew “clergy” made the Temple of Solomon political and military, Nebuchadnezzar razed it and exiled the “clergy” who made it so.
When Jewish “clergy” made the rebuilt Temple of Solomon political and military, the Roman General Titus razed that and exiled its “clergy.”
When Hitler and his minions made The Reich Church, humanity razed him and it.
When Sikhs made their Golden Temple at Amritsar political and military, the Indian Army razed parts and damaged much of it and exiled the Sikhs.
When a key shrine is made political and military by so-called clergy, there is no remedy short of sweeping it and them away.
