Members of the permanent bipartisan fusion party (aka D-R UniParty) behave like a hive or a herd.  They talk the same way, they talk about the same things, they demand the same things, the same things irritate them, etc.  This is observable.

Hives and herds have a boss, a central organizing figure who possesses unity of authority and exercises unity of influence on command processes.  In hives, that figure is a female.  In herds, a male.  So, which is the permanent bipartisan fusion party (aka D-R UniParty), a hive or a herd?

By the evidence of their urban design (for others than themselves) — high-stacked, high-density apartments overlooking a few narrow byways favorable to non-powered, non-overland transit — I would say the permanent bipartisan fusion party (aka D-R UniParty) is a hive centered on a female, a queen bee, so to speak, possessing authority to set the tone of an entire hive so as not needing directly to command it.

The queen bee does not give orders, but she sets a tone which her minions cognize and imbibe.  It is they, then, who create the sound bites, the news propaganda, the organizations, and the orders to concretize the tone set by the queen bee.  Her minions are the queen bee’s vassals, trying always to earn her approbation.  Think high school mean girl engineering to wear the crown of prom queen and social arbiter.

So, who is that woman today, this doyenne, this dean queen bee of the D-R UniParty?  At this point, I am not sure.  I think, however, she answers at least the following profile.

Hiding in plain sight
Of middle to later years
Attractive to younger men
Active sexually inside her peer group and outside it, for recruiting to it
Born to and/or married not only old money but, more importantly, old blood
Able to defuse any unpleasantness arising at a soiree or événement d’état
Has copulated with many men influential, or about to be, in a worldly way
Sought after by the ambitious, cultivates some of them, to include by copulation
On first name basis, and more, with principal media makers in D.C., NYC, LA, SF, and Gstaad
Universally respected/feared for possessing poli-social strategic and tactical sense
Able to make or break a career with the glance of an eye
Wants no Democratic woman nominated for POTUS; no competition for authority at the hive
Content, vivacious, relaxed; but isolated by protecting barriers from forces outside her peer group, who she keeps close
High school mean girl terror leader of the soi disant social in crowd, and who never grew up by practicing detachment, contrition, loyalty, and humility

We shall see.

Update 1:  Is this she?  I do not know.  A possibility, but I would not say that she is that woman.  Katherine’s husband, David, publishes for the permanent (they think) bipartisan fusion party.  Jim Mattis was chez Bradley to sell his book.  The Bradleys are inside D.C.

Update 2: Of course, there is also Juleanna Glover Weiss, doyenne of D.C.’s principled conservatives and other NeverTrump-ers.  Research suggests that she does wear a bra to parties.
