Religion And Ethics

By Mary Graham

“There has to be unity with God
before there can be any goodness.”
Martin Luther

This is why Augustine could say,
“Love God and do what you want.”

When one is in unity with God,
and then only,
all is goodness and that is He.
Without unity with God
there is no goodness.

Ethics is the result of religion
and cannot stand on its own.
Religion is the prius of ethics.

This is what Hindu philosophy means by
“freedom from the cycle of birth and death.”

This substantiates the Doctrine of Triple Predestination:
some He destines for Heaven;
some He destines for Hell;
all will be saved.
