Part of the work of the Devil is to make endless differentiations and distinctions where there are none or need be none.  We see this occurring in all dimensions of existence.  We see it especially in religion, politics, science.  Always the distinction or differentiation is presented as a conflict, this against that, these against those.

In fact, there is no reason for compelling differentiations other than to cause conflict, which, ironically, is also the father of all things.  Thus the Devil’s unending heartbreak:  diligentibus Deum omnia cooperantur in bonum (Romans 8:28: For those who delight diligently in God, all activity is good and goes to good.)

But let us consider consolidating some of the most egregious differentiations and distinctions courant aux États-Unis.  This is meant as serious mending, not frivolous prattle.  And to treasonous intellectuals who smirk that mending lives deprives the world of Grace  — paraphrasing St. Paul: let us sin the more that Grace may abound — I answer: and you know that Grace will increase as your sinning does?

Here is one: Republican against Democrat against Republican.  Well, as many observe, they are one party now and have been since the 1960s at least.  Consolidate the concept, call that The UniParty.  It’s source?  As always, academe, think Sorbonne.

Here is one: Sunni against Shia against Sunni.  Call that Islam.

Here is one: Moderate Islam against Terrorism/Jihad against Moderate Islam.  Call that Caliphism.

Here is one: White against Colored against White.  Call that Humanity.

Here is one: Males against Females against Males.  Call that Stupidity.

Here is one: Liberals against Conservatives against Liberals.  Call that Patriotism.

Here is one: Leftism against [God] against Leftism.  Call that Pezzonovante.

Here is one: Rich against Poor against Rich.  Call that So What.

Here is one: Fascism against Communism against Fascism.  Call that Socialism.

Here is one: Communism against Capitalism against Communism.  Call that Squabbling.

Here is one: Elites against Deplorables against Elites.  Call that Narrative.

Here is one: Atheists against Christians against Atheists.  Call that A Good Time.

Here is one: Queers against Normals against Queers.  Call that Fun.

A generation drive to insanity who refuse to embrace their contingency.

Never doubt for an instant the efficacy of Dharma or clinging to it.
