Life is dynamic, no thing stays the same over time. Essence always is essence, beyond form and energy, beyond dialectics, but existence always is building, re-building, morphing, re-morphing; always existence, always dialectics, but not always the same name, form, vector or energy presenting as existence.
President Reagan’s Evil Empire (Soviet Union) and President Bush’s Axis of Evil (Iran, Iraq, North Korea) have morphed into a larger, more insane/destructive and re-denominated phenomenon: the Left in Europe and the Americas, Pakistan, Iran, China and North Korea.
Credit President Reagan for annihilating the Evil Empire. Credit President Bush for annihilating one component of the Axis of Evil: Iraq.
Condemn President Reagan and the USA foreign policy establishment for being a one-issue President and brain-trust. Condemn President Bush and the USA foreign policy establishment for not following through on the other components of the Axis of Evil President Bush rightly identified: Iran and North Korea.
Now — and with the facilitation of President Clinton — the Axis of Evil comprises two known members (Iran and North Korea) and two arrivistes: Pakistan and China. Our USA foreign policy establishment is, shall we say, slow on the uptake. That is being generous. Frankly, our USA foreign policy establishment is an horrible canker that does not deserve the respect they demand much less are accorded … to include the Central Ignominy Agency.
But more than that, the Axis of Evil now comprises also the Left of Europe and the Americas, with almost all of that sourced in the churches — including the Roman Catholic Church (and here and here) — and their indoctrination clinics: colleges and universities, private and public. This build-out of the Axis of Evil rose from the omissions, not so much the commissions, of Presidents Reagan and Bush (both of them). They arose from that fetid swamp of jejune ennui known now variously as the deep state, the administrative state and the American foreign policy establishment.
The swamp may also be described as the Ivy League colleges and universities augmented by their associates the Moslem Brotherhood and Salafi Jihad generally. Leftism and Jihad are allies today, as not a few observe. Their common objective: annihilate Christianity and all its produce.

They discuss options and, given the dire emergency, the wife volunteers to work the corner outside the casino to get the $340 they need for the trip home. She comes back the next morning, exhausted, with $340.25. “Wow” says her husband,“You saved us! This is great! But, who gave you the quarter?”

I think the only rational answer is monasticism, family-based, man and woman with children homeschooled at least through pre-teens.

The Ivy League is church-made. Abolish the churches to abolish the Ivy League. Not so hard to do. Find them by law as political fronts. The churches, I mean.
The Church is exclusive, not inclusive. That fact will abolish the Ivy League, all on its own, not just talk about abolishing it. “Have no God beside me.” You do not get more exclusive than that. Make that point, miracles will happen.
