Persons elected, appointed or engaged to steward the electorate’s sovereignty have swung ’round to declare themselves masters of the electorate and nullifiers of their sovereignty.
These persons are Boomers and Boomers’ offspring. Granted, they were mentored to this attitude and act by decades of Soviet — and ChiCom, but principally Soviet — disinformation and active measures. Those spread confusion through institutions of civilization by flooding the country with addictive drugs — to include for prevention of pregnancy — promiscuity and divorce.
Yet are Boomers and their offspring not innocent, for upon reaching adulthood — and at least by age 28 — they should have grown up, wised up and acted to their country’s and their own benefit. And some did, thankfully, quite a few did, actually. But these did not seek to lord it over their fellow citizens, whereas, Boomers and their offspring, who did seek that overlordship, did go where they best could execute it. They went to schools, structures of government and enterprises which collect, propagandize and sell access to audiences.
From that triumvirate of civilization’s institutions, Boomers and their offspring have worked assiduously — yet not so assiduously as to triumph absolutely — to poison their country and countrymen. And for what? For spite, mostly, and for envy. For, you see, the unhappy envy the content and the accomplished.
Today the stewards turned masters — at least in intent — present as a Deep State or Elite — there are other descriptors, such as Administrative State — driven into the open, thank goodness, by POTUS Trump’s personality, accomplishments, sensibilities for domestic and foreign policy and patriotism.
An old story: steward essays to master the estate.
Yet POTUS Trump is merely the efficient cause of Boomer/Deep State discontent. A figurehead. The subtle cause of that discontent is the electorate’s obduracy regarding their own sovereignty as a country. And actually, theirs is not obduracy but fidelity, to their country and their — and no one else’s — sovereignty in, over, under, around and through it.
Indeed we are witness to a real-life Richard III doing what he does. Only he is a soi-disant class, a bitter, truculent combination, a cabal-ish claque. And the crown he seeks to own is all the time, money and energy belonging to the free and independent citizens of a sovereign nation state, a country, The United States of America.
Yea, even that achievement would not sate the Deep State’s concupiscence. They have said as much. They want unscrutinized ownership of every square centimeter of the planet. And everything under and over each of those. Yea, even Mullahs’ appetites are less exhaustive.
Counsel they will not take except it gratify their lusts.

Update 4: I think Lefties are trying to convince themselves that they still have power to terrify non-Lefties into silence and submission. They do not. They never did have, actually. PDJT’s most powerful and enduring accomplishment is to broadcast demonstration that Lefties do not have that power and to inspire normal creative Americans to self-confident words and deeds that prove the point.
Now Lefties are the terrified ones, because their supports — which were illusory all along — are gone and they have nothing to restore. Exhibit A: that Sarah Palin, bless her heart, plans to try Satan in His own kitchen, so to speak.
If POTUS and his whole Cabinet were eliminated this afternoon, it would not make a difference. The point has been made: Lefties are hollow men with derivative power only, not original power. The public, here and abroad, knows that now. They see it up close and personal and are moving themselves to keep the knowledge close by proving it again and again, experimentally, in direct experience. Lefties are justly terrified, thus this sort of article.
