Healthcare!

RAMANAM
In the Name of The Father, and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit, Amen.

Countrymen,

ORBIS NON SUFFICIT
SOLUS DEUS SUFFICIT

They lied.  They are liars.  They never intended to R&R The Fraud’s package.  They never could and they knew they never would and for two reasons, in descending order of importance: (1) their money bags are drinking at ACA’s revenue stream, which means they are, and (2) they are afraid of MSM calling them cruel, costing them reputation and votes.

This has all been kabuki, just as it was in 2009.  There always was only one thing to do with The Fraud’s package: don’t pass it, or if it passed, repeal it, explain the strategic reason government-paid health care is not a right and certainly not a benefit and remove insurance companies from between patients and doctors.

Sundance at The Conservative Tree House explains in clear language how legislation is made (Part 1 and Part 2 and Part 3 and Part 4 and Part 5) these days … it is not by legislators.

Health insurance started after WWII by companies as an alternative to paying living wages.  As Congress gradually brought in the feds and mandates, they did it to help the companies, originally the blue chips, but then everyone.  Nothing inherently wrong with that, except, writ large it occasioned insurance companies jacking their revenue streams beyond reason and necessity.  Now the illusion that someone else pays is treated as reality.  Ergo, insurance companies obstruct health care and agitate national security.

Single payer (US taxpayers … actually, federal borrowing) is the VA for everyone not wealthy enough to purchase health care, if any companies still wanted to offer it, which I am sure there would be, for the 5-Star set.  Single payer replaces one obstacle to health care — insurance companies — with a less manageable and easily more malign one — federal bureaucrats.

Remove every externally-wrought obstacle mooching between patients and doctors and pay employees a living wage.  The D-R UniParty would do that if they labored on behalf of the USA.  Instead, they lie as liars.  They are going to pay for that enmity.

I think that the most destructive USA domestic policies of the second half of the 20th Century were (1) allowing insurance companies to get between patients and doctors and (2) allowing labor unions to get between students and teachers.  Both policies — and they were federal, state and local legislative and executive choice — allowed bureaucrats to get between people engaged in the next most personal and consequential communications after parenting.  The only answer can be, remove those obstacles, those in-between-ers, those fleecers from government and private enterprise.

The next aim of bureaucrats — after getting between patients and doctors and students and teachers — is to get between parents and children and then between spouses.  Explosions will occur along the way to that ever happening, which, if it does, will have a brief life-span.

Why are two billionaires, Charles and David Koch, allowed to threaten standing Members of Congress who are collectively at least supposed to represent the interests of approximately 28 million voters?

Why is Tom Donohue, President 0f the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, allowed to threaten the Speaker of the House of Representatives and author legislation affecting 300+ million?

This is why: (Part 1 and Part 2 and Part 3 and Part 4 and Part 5).  Related.

Good healthcare is the one powerskirts do not consider: getting businesses out from between patients and doctors.  Good education also is the one powerskirts do not consider: getting unions out from between students and teachers.

There is the nanny state: powerskirts representing business and union in-between-ers and writing legislation and paying legislators (who never write legislation but do relish power to extort considerations) to pass laws that favor those in-between-ers at the expense of Americans not privy to the fleece and America herself.

I am sure Peter J. Nelson is well-regarded by his family and peers.  I am sure he believes he means well.  I also am sure he plays with my life as with a game of bandying words — aka making policy — and has no thought or care for me.

There are two ways to approach life.  (1) Start here and work towards there, wherever that is.  (2) Start there and work towards here, however that is.  Peter J. Nelson does the first.  Donald J. Trump does the second.  Europe does the first.  America does the second.
