RAMANAM
In the Name of The Father, and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit, Amen.
Countrymen,
ORBIS NON SUFFICIT
SOLUS DEUS SUFFICIT
Even considering the source — lefties tried and true — this is useful, I think, in several ways and one particular involving the CTC at West Point, buried deeply in this essay by the notorious Glenn Greenwald: Clint Watts. The Washington Compost conjured the dis-ease, the cries and the medications with this so-called literary bomb.
My thoughts:
1- The shady group in question aggregates lefties (Clintons/minions, Salafists, Ayatollahs, etc.) and Scoop Jackson/Bush Neo-Cons (i.e., Scoop Jackson Democrats = #NeverTrump-ers) (such as Watts, but also Kristol, Podhoretz, Norquist, Krauthammer, Mirengoff, Wolfowitz, Romney, Bushes) who want war with Russia, but for different reasons. Lefties want to wipe out Russian Christianity as dessert following, they think, wiping out Christianity in Europe and The Americas. Neo-Cons want to install true, unopposed Western secularism — aka Talmudic Collectivism, they call it democracy, actually it is Communism, a Talmudist and Salafist obsession — in the Kremlin … and everywhere else, of course … thereby nullifying Reagan’s success demolishing the Soviet. Talmudists want a new war against Russia, claiming post-Soviet Russia never really bent the neck — i.e., extirpated Christianity — in submission to Talmudic Collectivism after losing the Cold War.
And why should She? Russia precedes and succeeds the Soviet as a Christian, multi-racial and multi-religious culture, a phenomenon anathema to Talmudists and Salafists both. Russia is a great nation with, arguably among the great nations, the most dangerous border security and the most inconvenient internal communications liabilities.
2- This aggregated shady group drives the recount (nullification) effort underway. They concurred in rejection of Trump before 08NOV16 and conspire now to insist on his defenestration, wishes of the electorate and Constitutional adherence be damned. Reason: Trump wants to work with Russia, not fight Her.
3- The most fundamental reason the electorate chose Trump is: they do not see any reason to go to war with Russia and every reason not to. They prefer to cooperate with Russia in quietening MENA and then, with Russia (and I say with India also), facing down the major disturber of inter-national quiet: China. Trump has indicated that as his and his advisors’ planning vector with regard to Russia and probably also MENA and China. I say, Hurrah for them, go for it!
Update 1: Romney, like lefties and Neo-Cons, wants war with Russia. For a multitude of reasons but leading to the same conclusion: war with Russia. Main reason Trump got the vote is he said we do not need to war with Russia, we can find ways to work with Her, common grounds and goals. Conway is right about Romney and the wishes of the electorate, although she has not that I have seen spoken the focus of that: no war with Russia. In 2012, I warned Romney that Russia is not a USA enemy when he insisted She is. Best choice for SecState is David Petraeus, a genuine patriot, a genius, a good man who also wants no war with Russia.
Update 2: With respect, Paul, and allowing for my usual dimness, I am not following your logic here. And what I think is the conceptual anchor of your essay …
These days, Iran is America’s main enemy among nations. It has also become an ally of Russia.
… comports not with the considerable, widening and accurate estimate among the USA IC of profiles of enemies and allies of the USA in the categories you denominate (America’s main enemy, and, an ally of Russia).
Here is a conceptual anchor: despite fraud, misdirection and disinformation favoring a vote for the Democratic-Republican Uniparty candidate (Clinton) in the recent election, the American Donald Trump won the vote and the election because he indicated the possibility and desirability of working with Russia — eyes wide open, of course — to calm world affairs and protect mutual interests rather than warring with Her.
Now, of course, the Uniparty is unsatisfied with that result and moving to overturn it so they can have a war with Russia and America, both. Still, the sense of the country was made with great relief and self-satisfaction: no war with Russia or America, either one.
Update 3: What are we supposed to do about people like Grandin? What are we going to do about them?
Update 4:
Zero Hedge examines the same so-called literary bomb.
The Daily Caller does as well.
Update 5: PropOrNot’s list of Russian propaganda outlets in the USA and elsewhere. Apparently Theological Geography is too inconsequential to warrant their attention.
Update 6: In May 1970 I was in Phoenix, soon to move to Wickenburg, researching a book for Robert Theobald: Habit and Habitat. Before the book completed and was published (1972), Theobald ripped up my research (January 1971), literally, telling me no one would believe it.
My source was The New York Times.
I parted brass rags with Bob, informed the editor, asking him to remove my name from the project and book, and renounced claim to royalties. My part of the advance was not recalled because I completed my work. Bob published the volume under his name with glancing inclusion of my research.
I was as interested in anti-war protests then as I am now: zero. Never struck me as more than small-potatoes intrinsically and extrinsically mostly glandular turbulence. And, for a steadily increasing number of drug-addled visionaries, anti-war protests embodied lefties’ well-led (by KGB for one reason, CIA for another) brazen and ruthless march against Christian culture. That march, then and still — not anti-war protests — strikes me as big-potatoes.
And incidentally, industrial and agricultural pollution in 1970 also was big-potatoes. It was so big it presented lefties with a target opportunity they could not possibly fail to miss or exploit. I had documented a book’s-worth of it.
Update 7: The Deep State’s yearning for war with Russia
Update 8: Trump Will Face A Huge Challenge With U.S. Intelligence If He Wins
Update 10: How Mattis’ Plan For Fixing The U.S. Military Would Transform The Army That Forbes article includes a famous Army PR photo of a Stryker column at Yakima TC as well as a lunatics’ fever for heavy-armored warfare with Russia. The article’s writer is connected with an M1A1 Abrams tank factory in Ohio. So, taxpayer money transfer to private hands, not national sovereignty or strategy, is the article’s purpose.
Update 11: Spengler: Trump’s ‘America First’ vs. McCain’s ‘America Last’
Update 12: Paul Wright & Matt DeLisi: What Criminologists Don’t Say, and Why
