Something is afoot in MENA, a new alignment is forming,
comprising Israel, Saud, Egypt and Jordan,
that I can see so far.
Not sure how it builds out,
but I think the Muslim Brotherhood and
Salafism in general are going to be overtaken by
a perfect storm,
even in Saud, where Salafism started.
Hizbollah is pre-positioning to overrun Israel. SO: US and Coalition occupy Iraq (and related here), that will, among other benefits, draw Hizbollah away from Israel, then Israel kick ’em in the pants while US and Coalition crush ISIS and Iran/Hizbollah in Iraq, which they hold and make livable, independent, a vacation destination, for at least the next 50 years. Not that difficult to do, and even were it, still doable, and necessary. Arabs then will be respectful and engage in their own fundamental transformation.
Of which speaking, Commies, too, merit improvement through fundamental transformation of their existentials. Do they not?
Iraq is precisely the right place to be, and this is precisely the right time for US and Coalition to be there, to quieten the world with a generous dram of righteous wrath. Third time’s a charm. Right?
