RAMANAM
In the Name of The Father, and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit, Amen.
Countrymen,
The drive for religious freedom is stronger than the drives for economic, political and intellectual freedom. It is stronger because it is more fundamental. It lies closest to the heart.
The drive for religious freedom produced the United States of America. It created her success. Economic, political and intellectual freedom came in train of resolve for religious freedom.
The drive for economic freedom produced the Americas – to include the Caribbean – south, southeast and southwest of modern Texas. The drive for political freedom produced locally successful and dramatically unsuccessful coastal settlements on the eastern and western seaboards of modern North and South America. The more successful settlements admixed the drive for economic freedom. The less successful did not. The drive for intellectual freedom, where it appears, follows in train of the drives for religious, economic and political freedom. A weak drive, it is unable to start a freedom movement.
From most to least powerful, the drives for freedom are:
Religious Freedom
Economic Freedom
Political Freedom
Intellectual Freedom
The drives for religious and economic freedom produce long-term successful civilization. The drives for political and intellectual freedom do not. An efflorescence of political and especially intellectual freedom depends on the pioneering labor of the drives for economic and especially religious freedom. The drive for religious freedom, moreover, produces the longest-term successful civilization. It is the most fundamental drive.
If you want freedom, establish religious freedom. If you want control, suppress religious freedom. It cannot be done. Ultimately, even intellectual freedom cannot be suppressed, although suppressing drives for freedom gets easier as one descends their order from most to least powerful.
The first clause of the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America establishes religious freedom. That is because religious freedom guarantees the others whereas none of them can guarantee it.

Robert Stacy McCain notes a paradox: the Soviet Union and Caliphism (my designation, not his) target the United States of America as their first and absolute enemy and push every means of terror at their disposal into eliminating her. Yet, historically, ideologically and geographically the Soviet Union and Caliphism are dissimilar powers. Why would they see the same principal enemy?
The paradox disappears upon consideration that the United States of America has religious freedom, the most powerful and deeply felt of all freedoms, and Communists and Caliphists hate religious freedom accordingly, because they are absolutists: one secularist, one pseudo-religionist. For reasons noted in the foregoing tables, religious freedom, above all others, is the enemy of absolutists.
To this day, the United States of America has the most religious freedom of any nation on earth. To this day, her religious freedom, not her economic, political or intellectual freedoms, principally attracts immigrants to the United States of America. Some want to have it, some want to end it. Whichever, religious freedom is the main attraction and the United States of America is the world-wide venue for it.
McCain notes that American secularists/criminals, in common with Communists and Caliphists, believe there is something wrong with America. In their eyes and groins, there is: her religious freedom. Secularists, atheists, anarchists, progressives, Communists and Caliphists labor to eliminate religious freedom, and specifically Christianity, in order to eliminate the United States of America. Their targeting is correct for their goal.
Meta-analysis of the freedoms enumerated reveals a close association of intellectual freedom with religious freedom and of political freedom with economic freedom. The relationship may be described as symbiotic.
Religion is cultivated and enhanced by thought (reason) as well as by Grace, which neither contradicts nor overrides thought. Economics is cultivated and enhanced by interaction as well as by self-interest, which neither contradicts nor overrides interaction. Individual yearning is the base of religion as group yearning is the base of economics. Intellect supports religion as politics supports economics.
So they are meant and so they should.
To defeat the plan of secularists/criminals/Communists/Caliphists to destroy the United States of America, expand the geography of religious freedom. Annex Mexico as five or six new States of the United States of America. Make us all citizens of the United States of America who support her Constitution, her laws and her structures of representation.
Hold on to that which is good, freedom of religion, by expanding its purview.
