RAMANAM
In the Name of The Father, and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit, Amen.
Countrymen,
“So full of artless jealousy is guilt,
It spills itself in fearing to be spilt.”
It is established that the whole Fabian Communist/Progressive/Deconstruction/Superiority (i.e., criminal) frame of mind and deployment of effort, from Besant to Allred, from Eliot to Wilson, from Keynes to Sunstein, from the Frankfurt School to the Brookings Institution, produces a “vacuous cipher” with a whole lot of lies, deceit, mendacity, lawlessness, dreaming, cruelty, suffering, incompetence, incontinence, murder and falling down along the way. Criminals and criminality.
In other words, a fascist: Valerie Jarrett.
Fascists exploit the nature of their quarry – public opinion – the way hunters and fishers exploit the innocence of their prey – deer, bear, whale, fish, etc. They are conniving charmers and cunning linguists, always on the hunt, ever taking others as prey to feast on as if there is no tomorrow. In English literature, ogres. In Indian literature, rakshasas.
And they have succeeded. It is over. They rule the land, tyrannize it in fact, and cannot be dislodged by merely human skill or effort. OK, let us grasp and accept that. It’s a fact and that’s it.
Now, Let’s Change The Subject
Do what we can and ignore the rest. Pay no attention to the stalkers’ taunts and narratives. Let them see how far they can get. Let them to their fate. Stand aside and let them by. Let us do what needs doing to build and rebuild civilization. Make that happen.
Let us build and rebuild on compassion, for compassion, karuna. For all creatures. All creatures.
Fundamental research and development is indicated. Reacquire, especially, the Scottish Enlightenment: Kames, Hume, Boswell, Smith, Burke (an Irish Englishman who, yet, participated with the Edinburg literati of the Select Society).
The treasure sought – because it is spent and stolen but never unavailable or unattainable – is the rule of law. The Constitution of the United States – and more to the point, its stewards – failed to maintain the rule of law. The Founding Fathers could be confounded by perversity, as not a few of them knew that they could be from the start. And voters, turned around by perversity, failed to hold the stewards to their Oath of Office. Therefore, “… all are punish’d.”
Adams said that this new nation of individual freedom could not exist off the foundation of religion and morality. Jefferson spoke similarly. As did Washington and others besides. That is the counsel of common sense. Only the Unitarians from Madrassa Harvard and the Quakers from Pennsylvania opposed the Constitution and the rule of law. They believed it would barricade the breezes of holiness, the initiative of spirit. Which is to say, their never-ending hysterias and infatuations. They were antinomians. And are.
Now the rationale and practice of law has to be reacquired whilst under the boots and fists of the lawless. Not easy.
Back to basics. What are they?
Appeal to the United States Constitution is weak. The lawless scoff at it. Its stewards regard themselves superior to it. In other words, the stewards, too, are lawless. Appeal to the Constitution, therefore, is bootless.
Appeal to principles, especially the principle of free markets, is weak. The lawless scoff at principles other than lawlessness. “Principled people,” such as free market participants, form civil authorities to protect themselves against other principled people as well as against the lawless. Appeal to principles, therefore, is aimless.
Appeal must be made to what the Constitution and principles aim to concretize: human values. Basics. What are they? What is the basis of civilization?
Human values are a fiver: Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Love and Non-Violence. Upon this five, this set of pillars, rests the entire structure of life, family, history, society, civilization, group and nations. Success is unavailable off the fiver. The fiver expresses, but does not demand, the operational character of religion and morality.
A question arises, what concretizations of law rise from the fiver, this set of pillars, in the circumstances faced now, today and ahead? What is the foundation of civilization?
The question has three parts: the character of the pillars, the concretizations of culture rising from them and the circumstances into which those risings occurs.
Truth is integration, alignment of thought, word and deed.
Righteousness is the strength, the power which holds the consciousness bound to truth.
Peace is discrimination, detachment from the exigencies of life, including the body.
Love is compassion, karuna, with every creature.
Non-violence is imperturbability, quiet, the reliability of structure of any kind.
Rising from these pillars is the hubbub of activity that builds families and their supporting institutions, the first and most essential products of culture. Building up and out is the meaning of the Greek word economos – literally, naming fabricated structures of life. Economics is the fostering and gratifying of families – husband (man), wife (woman) and children. It is not about making money. It is about making love. Culture is the cultivation of life force – families – the only human activity with intrinsic power to grow itself.
The circumstances into which families – cultures – grow are a mixture. Some support families, some do not. A family must deal with both kinds and emerge intact. It is not easy. A husband’s skill and courage and a wife’s love and patience are tested. When those qualities endure and triumph, the family expands. When they do not, the family contracts and may cease to exist.
[NOTE: An array of families, or of individuals, is a group, not a family. No group of any kind whatsoever is a family. It is a group or, at best, a team.]
The job of men is to keep things organized. The job of women is to keep things moving.
Is it what we want or what we have? It is both at once. A wider, deeper approach to the question is indicated. Let us start from more basic basics.
There are five dimensions of life: non-organics, organics, psyche, spirit and history. Humans share the dimensions of non-organics, organics and psyche with animals, more or less. The dimensions of spirit and history man alone occupies and operates. And not all seeming so are human. There exists today, globally, between animality and humanity a large number of creatures appearing to be human who actually are neither only animals nor fully human. They are ogres “having power t’assume a pleasing shape.” These middling creatures – ogres – confuse human cognition and decision endlessly and to deleterious effect.
The dimension of spirit is man’s first distinguishing characteristic. In this dimension arise for the first time in geological history – and for all we know, universal history – questions of power and meaning. Animals express power without reflecting upon it. They have a sense of meaning but without examining it. Humans are the first creatures produced through the processes of creation – which is to say, evolution, involution and devolution – who ponder the meaning of it all and try to estimate their origin, purpose and destiny in it.
No animal asks:
Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
Humans do. As do also some of the creatures – ogres, or, as some call themselves, liberal fucks – living between animal and human conditions.
The dimension of spirit governs the condition of humanity. A human’s nature shared with animals (non-organics, organics, psyche) strongly affects his existence yet does not govern it. Their own questions about and explorations regarding their personal power and meaning govern a human’s existence. No animal is so governed. Not by itself, not by humans. Animals are creatures but not persons.
The dimension of spirit issues in three functions unique to humanity. These are: religion, culture and morality. Humans create religious practices. Man learns and educates himself. Humans create cultural frameworks. Man cultivates, refines and gratifies his impulses for self-confidence, self-satisfaction and self-sacrifice. Humans create moral systems. Man protects himself and companion vulnerable creatures with military and police forces.
The Profession of Theology and Medicine fosters the human function of religion in the dimension of spirit. The Profession of Law fosters the human function of culture in the dimension of spirit. The Profession of Arms fosters the human function of morality in the dimension of spirit.
Fostering these three essential professions with indefatigable energy and relentless assiduity is the way to build and rebuilt civilization following the onslaught of ogres.
“What a piece of work is a man!
How noble in reason! How infinite in faculties!
In form and moving, how express and admirable!
In action how like an angel!
In apprehension how like a god!
The beauty of the world!
The paragon of animals!
And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust?”
